SLINGS

Slings are the favored ranged weapon of Mages (besides their spells, of course!) but anybody can learn how to use this weapon to devastating effect from a distance. Just don't forget to have a healthy supply of Bullets at hand.

Arla's Dragonbane +3

Properties:

Damage: +3 (Missile Damage).
THAC0: +3.
Weight: 0.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 3 Strength.

Location:

Found at 16 on Level 1 of the Temple Ruins Dungeon.

Erinne Sling +4

Properties:

Equipped Ability: Can create 5 Bullets +4 per day.
THAC0: +4.
Damage: +4 (missile damage).
Weight: 0.
Speed Factor: 0.
Requires: 3 Strength.
Cespenar can upgrade this sling to the Erinne Sling +5.

Location:

Watcher's Keep:

Dropped by Azamantes the Lich at 5 on the Final Seal level of Watcher's Keep, after you open the Spirit seal.

Equipped Ability: Can create 5 Bullets +4 per day.

Damage: +5 (missile damage).
Weight: 0.
Speed Factor: 0.
Requires: 3 Strength.

Created by Cespenar in the Hellish Pocket Plane if you give him the Erinne Sling +4 and 5,000 GP.

Sold by Maheer at 10 in Waukeen's Promenade.
Sold by Arledrian on the second floor of Gaelan Bayle's Home.
Sold by the merchant at 4 in the City Gate District if you save him from the thug who tries to blackmail him.
Dropped by Saerk Farrahd at 11 on the second floor of Saerk Farrahd's Estate.
Dropped by one of the Mercenaries at 5 in the Galvarey Estate when you return here for Jaheira in connection with the Harper Hold quests.
Sold by the Djinni in the blue tent at 4 in Trademeet, as long as you haven't solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest for them.
Sold by the Smithy at 22 in Trademeet, once you have solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest.
Sold by the shop at 7 in Brynnlaw.
Sold by Therngle Dagleford at 16 in the Underdark.

Throne of Bhaal:
Sold by the bartender at 3 in the Tankard Tree.
Sold by the Smugglers at 1 in the Smugglers Cave in Amkethran if you save them from the Monks.

Watcher's Keep:
Dropped by Aesgareth's party at 35 on the Maze Level of Watcher's Keep.

Requires: 3 Strength.

Location:

Sold by Ribald Barterman at 2 in the Adventurer's Mart.
Sold by the Storekeep at 5 in the Slums.
Sold by Gorch at 2 in Mae'Var's Guildhall, as long as you haven't solved the Mae'Var quest.
Found in the Spore Colony Room behind the door at 3 in the Navigator's Room of the Planar Sphere.
Found at 11 in the Guarded Compound.
Found in Merella's Cabin if you are a Ranger and accept the cabin as your stronghold.
Sold by Ribald Barterman at 2 in the Adventurer's Mart in Chapter 6 if you agree to pay for seeing his special wares.

Sling of Everard +5

Equipped Ability: Does not require bullets.

Speed Factor: 0.
Requires: 3 Strength.

Location:

Sold by Joluv at 6 in the Copper Coronet if you have installed the Bonus Merchants pack.
