KATANAS

Katanas are extremely well crafted one-handed weapons that, when wielded by skilled warriors, do a lot of damage to their enemies. Unfortunately they are difficult to enchant, and magical Katanas are therefore rare.

Celestial Fury +3

Properties:

Equipped Abilities:
- Lightning Strike: Once per day.
- Blindness: Once per day.
Combat Abilities:
- Booming Thunder whenever an opponent is hit (Stun, Save vs. Spell).
- Shocking Blow chance whenever an opponent is hit (5% chance of 20 additional electrical damage).
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D10 + 3.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 1.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Dropped by Koshi at 7 in the Guarded Compound.

Corthala Family Blade

Properties:

Ability: 2 points additional bleeding damage on target every round for 2 rounds.
THAC0: +2.
AC: +2 bonus against slashing weapons.
Damage: 1D10 + 2.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 2.
Usable by: Valygar.

Location:

Part of Valygar's starting equipment.

Dakkon's Zerth Blade

Properties:

Equipped Abilities:
- +1 AC Bonus.
- Able to memorize one extra 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level mage spell.
THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D10 + 2.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 2.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Sold by Deidre at 4 in the Adventurer's Mart if you have installed the Bonus Merchants pack.

Hindo's Doom +3

Properties:

Special Ability: Casts Lesser Restoration once per day.
THAC0: +3.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 1.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.
Cespenar can upgrade it to the Hindo's Doom +4.

Dropped by the Green Dragon in the Test of Bravery.

Special Abilities:
- Cast Greater Restoration once per day.
- Immunity to all forms of Death Magic while equipped

Requires: 6 Strength.

Dropped by Kail at 1 in the Galvarey Estate when you return in connection with the Harper Hold quests.
Dropped by Koshi at 7 in the Guarded Compound.
Sold by the Djinni in the blue tent at 4 in Trademeet, as long as you haven't solved the Djinni in Trademeet quest for them.
Sold by the shop at 7 in Brynnlaw.
Sold by Therngle Dagleford at 16 in the Underdark.

Sold by Karthis al-Hezzar at 2 in the North Forest after you save him from Yaga-Shura's soldiers.
