The goal is to help a Halfling merchant named Waizahb collect a few specific items.
Speak to a Halfling merchant named Waizahb at 5 in the Coalition Camp. She offers the Quest if you ask her about her special wares. You can ask her about each of the items, a "ring", a "map", a "battle standard", a "token of faith" and a "holy symbol".
You can give yourself an option for obtaining the "holy symbol" later on. Speak to Mizhena at 9. Inquire about the faith of the Red Knight, and then inquire about obtaining a holy symbol of the Red Knight. Mizhena will eventually bristle against the suggestion, but then indicates that you can play a board game with a Priest of the Red Knight with his holy symbol as part of the wager. Mizhena will then give you a Coroniir game board to that end.
As for acquiring the items she wants:
A "token of faith" from one of the Crusaders. You can pickpocket a Token of Faith from any "Recruit" in the in the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle, including the girl near Leopas at 4, the Kobold or the Dwarf at 12, Recruit Kjarvan or Recruit Qing at 16, or the Recruits at 26 or 27.
A "map" that shows the Crusaders' progress. The table at 25 will have the Annotated Map. A nearby Crusader will demand that you stop if you try to take it while in plain sight. All Crusaders in the area will go hostile if you don't comply with the demand. But it is easy enough to steal for a character that is either in stealth or invisible.
A "holy symbol" of the Red Knight. Tristian at 10 has Tristian's Holy Symbol. You can only obtain it by challenging him for it through a game of Coroniir. Any of Dynaheir, Edwin, Neera or a Hero of Baldur's Gate with either Intelligence of 17 or Wisdom of 17 can win the game against Tristian and win his holy symbol. It cannot be pickpocketed.
Speak to Commander Dreon at 18 in the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle while wearing a Crusader Uniform. Select the dialogue option that involves signing several reports with his personal seal. He'll indicate that he has no time for it. Suggest that you can borrow his ring so that you can do the signings yourself, and he'll give you Dreon's Signet Ring.
Each time you give Waizahb one of the items you'll get a 2,000xp reward, leading to 10,000xp total. Each time also includes a material reward in the following order:
