Speak to Ammon at 3 in the first level of Korlasz's Tomb. She wants you to find Cobalt Moss. She wants it to complete a potion that will allow her to see invisible writing.
If Gorion's Ward is a Mage, he or she can tell Ammon about an alternative method of completing the potion. Ammon will then craft the alternative potion. Speak to her again to complete the quest. You'll get 50gp if you request compensation.
She'll ask if you can write a letter of recommendation for her for purposes of gaining entry to Candlekeep. She'll provide additional rewards of a Wand of Monster Summoning and 3,000xp.
The long way to complete this quest begins by getting past the Iron Throne Soldiers and Followers of Sarevok at 9. You can either kill them outright, or get close enough to Porios at 10 to speak to him and convince him to submit to arrest. Either way results in obtaining the Tomb Key.
The door at 11 can be opened either by a Thief with a good enough Open Locks skill, or with the Tomb Key. And from there you can go down the stairs at 13.
That will bring you to 1 on the second level of Korlasz's Tomb. You'll have to clear a path through both monsters and traps to reach the next destination. At a bare minimum you'll have to fight the undead at 2, 6 and 15, and then the Mercenaries at 25.
