Dragonspear Castle Courtyard

You won't be attacking this castle in earnest, at least not just yet. But there's some side quests here as well.

Dragonspear Castle, Courtyard

  1. Here is your initial point of entry. Coming here becomes possible after having reached either the Dead Man's Pass or the surface of the Underground River.

  2. Here you'll encounter Mercenaries harassing Skie, as part of the Skie's Gone Missing Quest.

  3. The Guards here won't let you pass without a Seal of Caelar. One is carried by a Cyclops at 12 on the Surface of the Underground River. Another is carried by Malden Col at 32 in the Coalition Camp.

  4. Leopas will be here, with a gathering of Crusaders before him. Valis will accuse Corinth of betrayal, and initially it's up to Leopas to decide who's right. The dispute is the focus of The Trial Quest.

A Recruit near Leopas can be pickpocketed for a Token of Faith, which Waizahb at the Coalition Camp will want. Actually, anybody who is a "Recruit" instead of a "Crusader" can be pickpocketed for a Token of Faith. That includes the Kobold and Dwarf north of Tristian at 10, the Recruits near Deneld at 28, and Recruit Kjarvan or Recruit Qing at 16.

  5. Damarr will be here after The Trial has started, and can be questioned in relation to that Quest.

  6. Valis, the accuser of Corinth, will be here after The Trial has started.

  7. Delton will be here after The Trial has started, and can be questioned in relation to that Quest.

He's standing right next to a chest that has a Scroll of Protection from Fire (Green) and a Scroll of Protection from Poison (Green).

  8. Ravoc will be here after The Trial has started, and can be questioned in relation to that Quest.

You can also ask him for his reasons for joining the Crusade after Deneld at 28 gives you the Understanding the Crusade Quest.

  9. Corinth, the man of accused of betraying the Crusade, will be here after The Trial has started.

  10. Tristian, a devotee of the Red Knight, will be here. He has Tristian's Holy Symbol, which you can win from him through a game of Coroniir. Waizahb at the Coalition Camp will want Tristian's Holy Symbol as part of the Quest called On the Fence.

He's willing to explain how he came to join Caelar's cause after Deneld at 28 gives you the Understanding the Crusade Quest.

  11. This barrel has 3 Potions of Extra Healing.

  12. Two Crusader Recruits, one a Dwarf and the other a Kobold, will be here. Either can be pickpocketed for a Token of Faith, which Waizahb at the Coalition Camp will want as part of her Quest called On the Fence.

  13. A crate here has a Crusader Uniform, which will come in handy for both the Morning Report and On the Fence Quests.

  14. The First Stone Fragment will be in this pile of rubble. It becomes relevant during the Foehammer's Blessing Quest.

  15. Crusader Nan and Crusader Pedro will be here, with Sallo passed out on the ground beside them. Nan and Pedro give you the Morning Report Quest.

They give you an Empty Wineskin. You can click on the barrels just behind Pedro to turn it into the Full Wineskin, which is relevant to the Quest.

  16. Recruit Kjarvan and Recruit Qing will be standing next to an icon of Tempus here. They give the Foehammer's Blessing Quest.

  17. This chest will have the Battle Standard, which Waizahb at the Coalition Camp will want as part of her Quest called On the Fence, a Medium Shield +1, as well as some minor treasure.

  18. Commander Dreon will be here. He will want the Morning Report and the Full Wineskin as part of the Morning Report Quest.

  19. Here is Zare, who is relevant to the Quest called Understanding the Crusade.

  20. This chest will have a Morning Star +1 and the Troll Shackles, which are relevant to the Troll Breakout Quest.

  21. Here is Beno Famari, along with two other Crusaders. He's the focus of Corwin's personal Quest.

  22. This barrel has 3 Potions of Extra Healing, an Elixir of Health and a Potion of Clarity.

  23. This trapped and locked chest has a Crusader Uniform and a Potion of Heroism.

  24. You will not be able to get past this locked gate for now.

  25. This table will have the Annotated Map, which Waizahb at the Coalition Camp will want as part of her Quest called On the Fence. A nearby Crusader will demand that you stop if you try to take it while in plain sight. All Crusaders in the area will go hostile if you don't comply with the demand. But it is easy enough to steal for a character that is either in stealth or invisible.

  26. There will be several Crusader Recruits in training here. Any of them can be pickpocketed for a Token of Faith.

  27. There will be another two Crusader Recruits here, and either of them can be pickpocketed for a Token of Faith.

  28. Here is Deneld, who gives the Quest called Understanding the Crusade.

He also has items that are relevant to two other Quests, the Morning Report for the Morning Report Quest and the Second Stone Fragment which is needed for the Foehammer's Blessing Quest.

  29. This chest has 3 Potions of Fire Resistance and a Potion of Perception.

  30. Here is Sindret, who gives the Troll Breakout Quest.

  31. Here is the Troll who is the subject of the Troll Breakout Quest.
