Hunting Season

    Sayuka

  1. Go to the Workshop at #10 on the map of Sayuka. Exit the workshop for the first time and several Bog Druids, along with their animal minions, will be attacking the residents of Sayuka. The end of this battle triggers the Quest.

  2. Go see Fleet Master Okaya in her office at #6, who will reward you with 500cp. She would like you to get rid of a nearby group of Druids who are behind the attacks.

Go to one of the exits, and leave Sayuka by foot.
  3. Sayuka Island

  4. You'll start off at #1 on the map of Sayuka Island. Make your way to Bentbranch Bog, which is at #4.
  5. Bentbranch Bog

  6. You'll start off at #1 on the map of Bentbranch Bog. You can either fight the Delemgan and Assassin Vines at #2 for a straighter path to the Druids of Seasons, or you can take the long way around by fighting the Dank Spore, Sporelings, Bog Druids and Bog Lurker at #4.

  7. Druids of SeasonsThe Druids of Seasons will be at #6, along with a couple more Bog Druids and a Bog Barbarian. One pathway is to kill them. One of them will leave behind the Jade Tiger Figurine should you win. Another will leave behind a War Bow called Saint Omaku's Mercy.

Return to Fleet Master Okaya. She'll reward you with 7,500+xp, several Bombs of various sorts, and a Blunderbuss called Xefa's Empirical Explication.

  8. The alternative path is to agree to kill Fleet Master Okaya instead. The Druids will reward you with Saint Omaku's Mercy.

Return to Okaya in Sayuka, and inform her that the Druids send their regards. She's easy enough to kill. You'll get about 1,700xp as a reward.

All the Rauataian forces, as well as Marofeto Liano, will go hostile once you leave her quarters.

Completing this Quest also means a major loss of reputation with the Royal Deadfire Company, and any Company members in the Brass Citadel going hostile should you return there. It also means failing any Quests the Company may give you, including Clearing Out Crookspur and The Final Maneuver. That in turn means no longer being able to ally with the Company for purposes of the Main Quest, The Coming Storm.
