This Quest becomes available after completing the Salt
in the Wound Task.
Entrances to the Valera Estate are at doors marked #13 on the map of Queen's Berth.
You start off at one of the doors labelled #1 on the map of the Valera
Estate. The stairs at #2 lead to the stairs at #3 on the map of
the upper floor.
Atello Valera and Martino Valera will be at #4. They'll have a job for
you. A group of Rauatai Sailors are bragging of their deeds against
pirates at The Wild Mare. They'd like you to put a stop to it, although
Martino in particular would like to see them killed outright.
There will be some stairs near the southeast corner of Queen's Berth. Go up them and then approach the door to The Wild Mare at #25.
Shrimp and his crew of Sailors will
be right by that door. You can make a Bluff check of 4 followed by any of the
dialogue options afterwards to spook him with the thought of spirits
haunting the Mare, and make him leave willingly.
Had you simply spoke to Zili Valera at #36 on the map of Queen's
Berth as part of the Quest called A
Sinking Feeling, it provides another option to convince Shrimp to
leave willingly on the hope that he can listen to Zili sing Ruautai
songs.
Return to Martino for 1,500cp, the Valera
Sails and an xp reward. He'll indicate that he'll have another job
for you in a few days.
Note that completing the Quest begins running the clock for a heist on
the Bardatto Vault that Martino has planned. The heist will be set in
motion in about three days. Allowing that three days to elapse without
any efforts to bring the families together can limit your options for
the Family Pride Quest.
The Quest called A Sinking Feeling
can be completed during those three days, but not after they have
passed.

"Well, now, this is a fine turn of events. I haven't led a party since...well, since Uncle Scratchy turned sick with the pox and put me in charge. He just didn't trust the dwarf, you see. Hmmn...hopefully, this time works out better than the last..." -Jan Jansen, Baldur's Gate II
