A bartender in the Elfsong Tavern would like to get her hands on a special wine that sells to the customers, but she's too tied down to get it herself.
Irina will be at 10 in the main floor of the Elfsong Tavern. She'd like you to get some Ruby Wine for her, as it's the most popular wine of the establishment but she's all out of it. She encourages you to steal if from the Ducal Palace. If you object to stealing, a dialogue option becomes available that demands 50gp so that you can leave it behind as a kind of purchase.
If your Hero of Baldur's Gate is either a Druid with a Wisdom score of 16 or a Mage with an Intelligence score of 16, you can enchant a standard barrel of wine to become a barrel of Ruby Wine. She'll give you 500xp and a helm called the Battle Tankard as rewards.
Otherwise, you'll have to do things the hard way. Step out the door at 7.
You'll now be at 3 of the outside of the Elfsong Tavern. Exits at 1 and 6 allow travel to other parts of Baldur's Gate.
The stacks of barrels at points marked 24 only offer a standard Barrel of Wine that won't be good enough for Irina.
It is the stack of barrels at 25 that has the Barrel of Ruby Wine that Irina wants. If you previously expressed reservations about stealing to Irina, and she gave you 50gp in response, it is now up to you whether you actually do leave the 50gp behind in the barrel in place of the Barrel of Ruby Wine. You will have that option when you click on the barrels and had previously expressed reservations to Irina.
