THIEF AMONG THE REFUGEES

One refugee has stolen from another. Time to play detective.

Iron Throne, Main Floor

  1. Speak to Rasaad at 8 in the main floor of the Iron Throne Headquarters.

That prompts Berta from 9 to confront Lon at 7, and thus initiates the Quest. Note that neither Berta nor Lon would have responded to you in any meaningful way until you had first spoken to Rasaad.

  2. Berta will indicate that her holy symbol was stolen. She's convinced that Lon had stolen it, as he'd been eyeing her amulet when she was polishing it, and caught him looking in her bag which had a subsequent tear.

Lon will deny the accusation of course, but Rasaad will come over and express skepticism regarding the claims to innocence.

You can err in favor of his innocence, and that will end matters there without any reward.

But it's more beneficial to insist on either calling in the Flaming Fist, or flat out accusing him of the theft yourself, or indicating that you're going to search him, with either possibility making it clear that the law is about to come down on him. He'll then turn into a Werewolf and attack.

He'll leave behind Lon's Amulet after he's killed. It will be yours to keep. Berta won't want it anymore, even if you offer it to her.
