Tangaloa Island

Tangaloa Island

Amira's Whisper

I land at #1 on the map of Tangaloa Island. I go on ahead to to Amira's Whisper at #2, where I get attacked by Shadows and Spectres led by a Cean Gwla (equivalent of a Banshee) named Elewys. Mirke teleports out of harm's way once she's attacked, and is able to safely fire away at a distance. The spirits are vulnerable to Burning Damage, so Pallegina summons her Wurms whenever she can.

Elewys' Locket is part of the loot, but I'll just sell it.

I continue north to a shipwreck called Impostor's Lament at #3. I get a Spyglass as part of the loot, which will come in handy during scripted interactions.

The entrance to the Temple of Tangaloa Ruins is at #6.

*Evil* Amira's Whisper

For the evil party I simply have Xoti stuff the spirits into her Lantern. She also gets Elewys' Locket as an interim amulet.

Temple of Tangaloa Ruins

*Evil* Angfor's Journal

I show these parts from the perspective of the evil party. I start off at #1 on the map of the Temple of Tangaloa Ruins.

Zarathos speaks at length with Xoti, after the latter has absorbed several more spirits into her lantern. She definitely now has a real fascination with death and causing death.

I go southeast and pick up several items along the way. The table at #2 has Angfor's Journal, which chronicles a crew's arrival on the island and their descent into cannibalism out of desperation.

*Evil* Captain Angfor

I huddle into the corner near the table at #2, so that Tekehu and Ydwin will be behind a protective wall. Mirke goes on ahead to get the attention of the nearby enemies and draw them onward. Several Crazed Kith of various professions as well as a Crazed Ogre come at me en masse. Ydwin hits them with Phantom Foes. Tekehu plants Chill Fog over the thick of the battle, and then hits the enemies with Nature's Mark. All of that together allows me to cut them down quite quickly, and then surround and gang up on Captain Angfor himself.

*Evil* Giordu Red-Handed

The table at #3 has the Kith Meat Recipe. That may be of interest to anyone playing a Corpse-Eater Barbarian, as gaining the recipe confers the knowledge to craft the Corpse Loaf and Forbidden Flesh Pie. Those Food items confer Might and +2 Power Levels resting bonuses, both of which could substantially raise the power of Carnage for a single-class Corpse Eater.

Giordu Red-Handed is at #5. He begs to join my crew, but Zarathos leaves him to his cruel fate. I then leave the Temple Ruins.

*Good* Alliria lets him onto her ship as an act of mercy, but I'll get rid of him once I make it back to Neketaka.

*Evil* Devil's Feast

I rename Tangaloa Island to "Devil's Feast" after leaving the ruins. I return to my ship. *Good* The good party names it "Elysia".

I sail north and take down both a Principi Expert Captain and a Deadfire Merchant Ship along the way.

I afterwards dock at Port Maje.
