The Final Act

Hadret House, Main Floor

  1. Kurren is at #4 on the map of the first floor of Hadret House. He is willing to give you the job of invetigating some recent disappearances, but only after The Hermit of Hadret House quest has triggered.

    The individuals who have reportedly gone missing are Lendry, Kendal and Kora.

    There are also three witnesses: Lora, Oly and Elcga.

  2. The door at #1 leads back out to Brackenbury at #14.

  3. Brackenbury

  4. Elcga will appear as a witness as to Kendal's disappearance at #12 on the Brackenbury map. Aggressive, Clever and Diplomatic dialogue options are available in response to her initial frustration with the Dunryd Row. A thorough questioning of her will reveal that Kendal took up with an acting troupe, and in particular a tall and attractive actress.

  5. Ondra's Gift

  6. The entrance to the Salty Mast is at #12 on the map of Ondra's Gift.

  7. Salty Mast, Main Floor

  8. Another witness, Oly, will now be at #10 on the map of the main floor of the Salty Mast.

    He won't be enthusiastic about offering information on the whereabouts of Lendry. You need to make either a Might check of 13 that earns Aggressive disposition, a Resolve check of 11, or a Constitution check of 14.

    He'll let on that Lendry took up with a woman who would be 'worth a month's coppers' named Lumdala, and that they were going to see a play together.

  9. Copperlane

  10. The merchant named Lora will be at #25 on the Copperlane District map. She'll gladly answer any questions regarding the disappearnace of her sister. What emerges is that he sister was excited about landing a role as a thespian with an acting troupe named the Revel of Stars.

  11. Lumdala can be found near the Ampitheatre at #8. You can question her about the three disappearances, with Passionate and Rational replies becoming available, but she will be persistently evasive.

  12. Once that conversation concludes, Kadal at #7 will talk to you and indicate that he knows what's going on. He'll invite you to come see him in Lumdala's House.

  13. Lumdala's House

  14. The entrance to Lumdala's House is at #21 on the Copperlane District map.

  15. You'll start off at #1 on the map of Lumdala's House. Kadala will now be at #4 of the house. He'll give you the Rusty Bronze Key, which can be used to open the door at #5.

  16. The stairs at #6 goes down to the Copperlane Catacombs at #23.

  17. Copperlane Catacombs

  18. You will start off at #23 on the map of the Copperlane Catacombs.

  19. At #25 will be a scarf. Click on it and you'll commence a Watcher vision of Kora being throttled in front of a merciless crowd in attendance at the undeground theatre. Benevolent, Cruel, Passionate, Rational and Stoic replies are possible in response to the revelation.

  20. Lumdala and her band of thugs will accost you immediately thereafter. Aggressive, Clever, Passionate and Stoic replies are possible during the conversation. You have a few choices on how to go about things. You could kill the whole lot of them. The loot includes:
    You could instead let her go free in exchange for learning the name and location of her patron, Lord Gaderman.

    Or you could agree to let her go initially in order to learn about Lord Gaderman, and then attack her anyway.

  21. Brackenbury

  22. If you found out about Lord Gaderman through Lumdala, you will find him at #3 on the Brackenbury map. You have three basic choices:

    • Accept 1,000cp from him and let him go.
    • Offer to frame somebody else in his place. He'll give you 1,000cp plus Linete's Signet Ring with the intention that you frame Linete Reymont (who's at #5 on the first floor of the Reymont Manor so that she'll end up in the Sanitarium.
    • Insist that you're going to turn him in, which earns Honest disposition. Lord Gedmar will immmediately commit suicide by ingesting poison.

  23. Report the good news to Kurren. You can report as the murder Lumdala, Gedmar, or both Lumdala and Gemdar. Any of these options will earn Honest disposition.

    If you have Linete's Signet Ring, you can name Linete as the murderer, which earns Deceptive disposition.

    Kurren will reward you with 3,000cp. Passionate and Stoic replies are possible. You can make a Resolve check of 14 to insist on another 1,000cp.

    You will also earn a moderate increase in reputation with Defiance Bay. However, if you choose a Benevolent option that declines the 3,000cp, you instead gain a major reputation increase with Defiance Bay.
