TWO-HANDED SWORDS

The massive Two-Handed Sword is often the weapon of choice of strong warriors who would rather do a lot of damage to the enemy than worry about protecting themselves with a shield. When enchanted, they become even more deadly. As the name implies, due to their weight you have to use both hands to use them, so you can't use a shield or a secondary weapon along with them.

Dragon Blade

Properties:

THAC0:+3
Damage: 1D10 + 3.
Special:
- +2D4 cold damage and Slow on target (no save) for 1 round on critical hit.
- +10% chance of Critical Hit while in a Berserker state (e.g., Barbarian, Berserker, Rashemi berserker rage).
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Carried by Rigah at 13 on the surface of the Underground River.

Rancor

Properties:

THAC0: +1
Damage: 1D10 + 1.
Special:
- +1 THAC0 when Dorn lands a killing blow.
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

In one of the chests at 17 near the Boareskyr Bridge.

Sword of Ruin +2

Properties:

THAC0: +2.
Damage: 1D10 + 2.
Special:
- +5% chance of critical hit.
- +2D4 slashing damage on critical hit.
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

In a chest at 20 in the second level of Korlasz's Tomb.

Sword of Troll Decapitation +1

Properties:

THAC0: +1, +3 vs. Trolls.
Damage: 1D10 + 1, +3 vs. Trolls.
Special:
- +2 Fire damage vs. Trolls
- Critical hit against a Troll raises Strength by +1 for 10 rounds.
Weight: 15.
Speed Factor: 10.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Location:

Carried by a Bronze Sentry at 14 in the Repository of Undeath.

Damage: 1D10 + 1.
Weight: 12.
Speed Factor: 9.
Requires: 14 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, Mages, and Thieves.

Sold by Belegarm at 7 in the Coast Way Crossing.
Sold by Belegarm at 3 in the Troll Claw Woods.
Carried by Barachus at 24 in the Coast Way Crossing.
Carried by Ziatar at 14 in the Temple of Cyric.
Sold by Belegarm at 3 in the Coalition Camp.
Carried by the Orog Chieftain at 22 in Dead Man's Pass.
Carried by Belben at 2 in the basement of Dragonspear Castle.
Carried by Bird-Dog at 10 during the attack on the Coalition Camp.
Sold by Belegarm at 2 in the main hall of Dragonspear Castle.
Carried by Darnas at 2 in the entrance to Avernus.
