LONG SWORDS

One of the most common melee weapons in Faerun, the Long Sword does heavy slashing damage to all enemies that get too close.

Gift of the Demon +5

Properties:

THAC0: +5.
Damage: 1D8 + 5.
Permanently loses +1 enhancement each time it hits its target, until it permanently becomes a +1 weapon.
Cursed: Can only be removed with a Remove Curse spell.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Can be given as a gift by Xhost after using the Spectacles of Spectacle to pull him from the Abyss at 2 in the Avernus Elevator.

Damage: 1D8 + 1.
Weight: 4.
Speed Factor: 4.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Sold by Belegarm at 3 in the Coalition Camp.
Part of Khalid's starting equipment.
Carried by a Drider near the door at 14 in the Underground River.
On a table at 6 in the Warrens.
Carried by Crusader Elites at 9 in the basement of Dragonspear Castle.
Carried by Lannac at 10 during the attack on the Coalition Camp.
Carried by Turalynn at 10 during the attack on the Coalition Camp.
Carried by Marius of Tethyr at 10 during the siege of the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle.
Carried by Sarginson at 10 during the siege of the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle.
Carried by Thasz at 20 during the siege of the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle.
Sold by Belegarm at 2 in the main hall of Dragonspear Castle.

Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages. (Description in-game also says not usable by Thieves but my Thieves have been able to use it!)

Carried by Ivann at 24 in the Coast Way Crossing.
Carried by Rhayla at 9 during the attack on the Coalition Camp.
Carried by Thasz at 20 during the siege of the courtyard of Dragonspear Castle.

Tongue of Acid +3

Properties:

Special Ability: 10% chance of Slowing target on hit for 3 rounds (save vs. spells, bypasses Magic Resistance).
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D8 + 3, +1D4 acid damage (bypasses Magic Resistance).
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

A possible reward for correctly answering a riddle posed by Thrix the Profane at 3 in the Avernus Bridge.

Voidsword +3

Properties:

Equipped Ability: -1 Strength.
Special: Target on hit must save vs. spells or suffer -1 Strength for 5 rounds.
Does no damage to undead.
Strength bonuses to damage and THAC0 do not apply.
THAC0: +3.
Damage: 1D8 + 3.
Weight: 3.
Speed Factor: 3.
Requires: 6 Strength.
Not usable by: Druids, Clerics, and Mages.

Location:

Can be created by Jegg Hillcarver at 2 in Bridgefort if you give her the Voidstone Shards.
