Coalition forces desperately hold onto this bridge tower against a siege by the Crusaders. You have a crucial decision to make, whether to drive the Crusade away or help them capture the tower.
Here is your initial entry point. Khalid will speak to you briefly when you first come here before he goes off to 3.
Here is Jegg Hillcarver, the resident blacksmith who has a collection of armor, shields and weapons for sale. Speaking with her makes it clear that she's open to the idea of surrendering Bridgefort to the Crusade while destroying its supplies so the Crusade can't make use of them. That conversation starts The Desperate Defenders Quest.
There will be a Wizard named Wynan Hess here. He's protecting Bridgefort against siege weapons. But just speaking to him apparently breaks his concentration, and a weapon made it through.
He goes over to 6, where a Voidstone is now lodged in the corner.
The presence of the Voidstone now means anyone in Bridgefort, the party included, will suffer an Energy Drain penalty to their character levels, at least until the party can somehow find a way to neutralize the Voidstone's draining power. Wynan Hess explains that he needs the original spell scroll of the wizard who enchanted the Voidstone to neutralize its power. This sequence starts The Creeping Darkness Quest.
Here is Hoach Randymonk, who is one of the Gnome family members you must find and speak to if you wish to fulfill Glint Gardersonson'spersonal Quest.
If you obtained the Boot and a Half of Speed after defeating Tsolak during the Isabella and Ikros Quest, you can ask Hoach what he can do with it as a Cobbler. He'll want 1,500gp for the job if you ask him what his price is. Or you can ask if he'll accept 1,000gp. He'll accept it if you pass a Charisma check, but raise the price to 2,000gp if you fail the Charisma check. He'll need a day to finish the job, literally 24 hours which you can pass by resting 3 times.
There is a 50% chance you'll get proper Boots of Speed. There is also a 50% chance that you'll get a defective pair that forces the wearer to run in random directions for a bit before falling down and taking 10 hit points damage. Try again and there will be more running around at random and another 10 points of damage after taking a second fall. And the Boots will fall apart and no longer be in your inventory. *NOTE* HOWEVER, you can select the wearer during the second running around and direct the wearer to walk somewhere else before he or she takes the second fall and another 10 hit points damage. If you do that, you can avoid the second fall and second 10 hits point damage, and you'll now have actually improved Boots of Speed that are 50% faster than usual Boots of Speed.
You can find Neera here and have her join your party. She immediately tells you that she wants specific ingredients for a potion she intends to make. That starts her personal Quest, The Call of the Wild Mage.
Here is where the Voidstone is now lodged after speaking to Wynan Hess at 3. It has also killed three fort defenders, with the result that Herdrin's Body, Lexa's Body and Kendra's Body will be nearby. Their corpses can be placed on the altar near Junia at 8 to start the Tender of the Dead Quest.
Click on it three times after completing The Creeping Darkness Quest and you'll get the Voidstone Shards. They can be used by Jegg Hillcarver over at 2 for crafting purposes.
Junia will be here, with an altar directly behind her. Speak to her after the Voidstone crashes at 6, and she'll ask you to move Herdrin's Body, Lexa's Body and Kendra's Body onto the altar. The request starts the Tender of the Dead Quest.
