This Quest starts on completion of the Hidden Depths Quest. You'll have a conversation with Tayn and Llengrath when you first enter the Temple of Revelation. It comes out during the conversation that something dangerous has escaped from the Collections wing.
Go down the stairs at #4.
You'll now be at #1 on the map of The Enclosures. Walk ahead to #2. There is a screaming pit there. The prisoners occasionally try to hurl themselves into it, only to be repulsed away from it.
There is a Mouth of the Organ at points marked #3. Each will be guarded by several Vithrack.
Each Mouth imposes a -50 Will penalty on the party, which can make you more vulnerable to the Vithracks' powers. You can destroy a Mouth, but doing so causes the nearby Prisoners to go hostile.
The Enclosures Lift is at #15. Taking it up leads to the Spun Terrace. For purposes of this Quest you'll want to taking it down to the Hall of Reconfiguration.
There will be a couple of Observers (Beholder-like eye monsters), along with some Augmented Flesh Constructs and a Vithrack Warden in the large central room at #7. There are ways to make the fight winnable for yourself.
The door at #4 can be opened either with a Mechanics skill check of 16, or with the Flesh Controller Room Key found at #13 (if you can find a way to get there first).
The machine that controls the Augmented Flesh Constructs is at #6. You can destroy the machine itself and the Flesh Constructs with an Explosives check of 15. Having obtained the Maintenance Log - Flesh Construct Controller from The Central Stacks will give you a couple more options. Giving its heart a "hard squeeze" will destroy the Flesh Constructs. You can make the Flesh Constructs and the Vithrack Warden your allies against the Observers by giving the machine's heart a "soft squeeze".
The room to the southwest will have traps. The stairs at #11 lead to the Assembly of Echoes.
You'll now be at #1 on the map of the Assembly of Echoes. Ahead at #4 will be a monstrosity known as the Memory Hoarder. The masked Wizard named Fyonlecg will also be present, but only if you have not yet completed the Annotated History Quest.
The Memory Hoarder can be a tough opponent. It has plenty of Health. It can also frequently Terrify multiple party members, so counteracting that with Potions of the Focused Mind, or having eaten Captain's Banquets as a Resting bonus, or abilities such as the Chanter's They Shielded Their Eyes 'Gainst the Fampyr's Gaze, will definitely help.
It also periodically unleashes hideous damage in a small radius around it. So you may want to have a tank character with a lot of Health lock it down while every else uses ranged attacks like missile weapons or spells.
It is immune to Interrupts, Intellect Afflictions and Resolve Afflictions. It also has Resistance to Dexterity Afflictions and Might Afflictions. So attacks that Prone (e.g., Concelhaut's Crushing Doom, Slicken) or Blind (e.g., Chill Fog) will help.
Defeating it leads to 15,000+xp and completion of the Quest. Your Watcher abilities will gain from it knowledge of how to reach the body of Wael.
If you have already completed the Quest called Annotated History Quest when you complete this one, having completed both Quests triggers The Inner Mysteries Quest.
