An explosive weapon lands with devastating effect within Bridgefort, and will continue to present a lingering danger if it is not neutralized.
There will be a Wizard named Wynan Hess at 3 in Bridgefort. He's protecting Bridgefort against siege weapons. But just speaking to him apparently breaks his concentration, and a weapon made it through.
He goes over to 6, where a Voidstone is now lodged in the corner. It has also killed three fort defenders, Herdrin, Lexa and Kendrin. The presence of the Voidstone now means anyone in Bridgefort, the party included, will suffer an Energy Drain penalty to their character levels. At least until the party can somehow find a way to neutralize the Voidstone's draining power. This event starts the Quest.
Take the teleportation circle at 1 with the Wardstone, which should definitely be in your inventory by now.
There are two chests at 17. The north chest has the Arcane Scroll of Impactful Doom that Wynan wants. Note that trying to take anything from the chest will cause Vichand to attack the party. You can usually kill him without anyone else in the Crusader camp noticing.
Now go back to through the teleportation circle at 5.
Bring the Arcane Scroll of Impactful Doom to Wynan at 6. Everyone in Bridgefort will attack you if you insist on extracting payment for it. Give it to him freely and he'll use it to neutralize the draining power of the Voidstone. A Wraith will attack, but it shouldn't be hard to kill. The drain penalty that was inflicted on party members will be removed. Everyone in the party will receive a 3,000xp reward. And Wynan will return to this original position at 3.
