A battle to rally the defenders of Bridgefort against the Crusaders, if you choose to start one.
The Quest can start in two ways.
You can complete the Down With The Drawbridge Quest with the result of lowering the drawbridge at 30 near Boareskyr Bridge, but then either threaten The Barghest or reveal to him that you're the Hero of Baldur's Gate. That will start a fight with you and the defenders of Bridgefort pitted against the Crusaders then and there.
The other way is to convince Khalid to fight the Crusaders instead of surrendering Bridgefort as part of The Desperate Defenders Quest. Whether you want to start the fight right away, or bring the Flaming Fist Reinforcements from the Troll Claw Woods first is up to you.
It's now a matter of defeating all of the Crusaders led by The Barghest and his lieutenants. Suffice to say it's easier if you brought the Flaming Fist with you before you start the battle.
