True to Form is the personal quest of Hiravias. He can be found at #15 in Stormwall Gorge. Speak to him and explore as many dialogue trees as you can with him. At some point you can ask him about his training as a Druid. That opens up the possibility of asking him what kind of animal he can spiritshift into. He will be quite reluctant to reveal that information.
You need to make either a Perception check of 12, a Might check of 14, or an Intellect check of 14 to successfully press him into being more forthcoming. He'll relate that his spiritshift form is that of an Autumn Stelgaer. His own tribe cast him out for it, since they consider the Autumn Stelgaer to be a soul-devouring monstrosity. Benevolent, Cruel and Passionate replies are available in response to his initial admission.
Getting him to reveal his spiritshift form triggers the quest.
The quest begins in earnest once you have reached Elm's Reach during Act 3. That means you will need to have spoken with Bethwyl in the course of The Assassin at Large quest so as to have access to every district in Twin Elms.
If you wish, speak to Tamrwn at #14 on the Elm's Reach map. He and Hiravias will speak at length to each other. Tamrwn will suggest that Hiravias may learn perspective on his particular spiritshift form from a nearby sect of Druids known as the Ethik Nol, who are housed in a complex of caves called the Blood Sands.
If you hadn't previously spoken to Tamrwn, then Naca at #10 may also give advice to Hiravias regarding his Autumn Stelgaer spiritshift form.
Progressing the quest now involves reading all of the stone tablets at spots marked #3. Hiravias will then want to go to a place called the Burial Isle.
You will start off at #1 in the Burial Islae map. An Amaua Druid named Scathden will be at #10, along with several Stelgaers. It turns out that Scathden also has the ability to use the Autumn Stelgaer form, and he will take every opportunity to belittle Hiravias. A fight is inevitable, but Aggressive and Cruel dialogue options are available along the way.
The fight should be easy enough. The Stelgaers will leave behind Stelgaer Teeth when killed. Scathden will only leave behind some coins.
The quest will conclude when Hiravias, following the battle, will come to terms with the Autumn Stelgaer form being a gift from Galawain, but that it demanded being an outcast from his tribe as the price to be paid in return.
