THE WINDSPEAR HILLS DUNGEON, LEVEL 3

This is the final level of the Windspear Hills Dungeon, and the place where you will finally meet Lord Firkraag.

  1. Here is the exit to Level 2 of the dungeon.

  2. Here are Firkraag and his pet mage Conster. If you hadn't guessed already, Firkraag is really a Red Dragon. He engages you in a long conversation before offering to let you leave in peace. You can either go upstairs and fight Conster there, or remain and fight Firkraag and Conster immediately.

    NOTE: If you are playing a Paladin, it is recommended that you don't kill Firkraag immediately. Otherwise you'll miss a Stronghold quest later on, to retrieve the Holy Avenger Carsomyr.

    Besides giving you 64,000 XP for killing him, Firkraag drops the Two-handed Holy Avenger Carsomyr +5, Red Dragon Scales (which Cromwell can forge into Red Dragon Scale Armor), a Scroll of Control Undead, a Cloak of the Shield, 1,500 GP, and some minor loot.

    Conster drops minor loot and the Firkraag Prison Key used to open the cell upstairs and free Garren Windspear's child.
