There will be several Skeletons to fight here. They shouldn't be difficult at all. They often leave behind Vessel Bones, Swords, Medium Shields and Pollaxes when killed.
There will be a hidden stash here that must be detected while in scouting mode. The chest will have an item from the "Esternwood - Upper West" section on the Random Drop List, as well a random item or two and some coin.
There will be a Spear Spider here, along with a few Spear Spiderlings. They leave behind Spear Spider Legs when killed.
There will be another corpse here that provides random loot and some coin.
If Kolsc did not previously approach you in Gilded Vale on account of having a good reputation with the town, but you now have a neutral but not negative reputation, he will approach you here to give you the Lord of a Barren Land quest.
