Here will be a few Shadows and Phantoms. This can be a pretty tough fight, since they can inflict Daze and Stun with their attacks, and are also immune to physically debilitating afflictions like getting Weakened or getting knocked Prone. However, they aren't that many in number and can be beaten even by a relatively low-level party as long as you're diligent in using your spells and keeping an eye on your Endurance.
This is easily the toughest fight in the area. There will be several Phantoms and Shadows, along with two Will-O'-Wisps. The Phantoms and Shadows are bad enough, but the Will-O'-Wisps use long range attacks that can both inflict electrical damage and confuse their targets. My advice is to try and lure each Will-O'-Wisp ahead of the others, kill it, and retreat so that the rest of the monsters go back to where they were intially. One of the Wisps can be lured in such a manner from east of the starting position, while the other can lured from north of the starting position. After that, you may want to take out at least one or two of the undead spirits in a similar fashion before taking on the rest in a group fight.
Here the party will fight a few Shadows and Phantoms, plus a few Earth Blights. The Earth Blights rely on straight physical attacks, so they're not nearly as dangerous as Will-O'-Wisps in combination with the undead spirits.
Here is the entrance to the Brighthollow. For all intents and purposes, it is presently just an abandoned building. However, you can rest here in between fights provided you have the camping supplies for it.
Here is the Eastern Barbican. Presently, it blocks your progress and prevents you from going to other areas on the World Map, such as the Woodend Plains for example.
To remove this obstacle, you will first need to complete The Old Watcher quest, obtain Caed Nua as a stronghold, and then instruct your Steward to have the Eastern Barbican rebuilt at no expense to yourself. Once those conditions are fulfilled, you will be able to explore areas on the World Map east of Caed Nua.
Here you will have to fight a couple of Flame Blights. They aren't particularly dangerous in and of themselves. Their real danger is that they explode upon dying, inflicting fire damage on everyone within a small radius.
Here you'll encounter the spirit of a Villager who does little more than provide some insane ramblings about past atrocities and that you should stay away. This location is also the door to the Great Hall.
