GROMNIR'S CASTLE, LEVEL 2

This is where you will meet Gromnir Il-Khan. Alas, he is not in the mood for talking – more for fighting.

When you enter, you will witness Melissan being dragged away to prison, after which everybody turns on you. You have just enough time to kill all enemies before Melissan returns to find that her hope of reasoning with Gromnir was in vain.

  1. Here is the exit to Level 1 of Gromnir's Castle.

  2. Here is the exit to Saradush. At the stairs will appear a couple of Il-Khan Soldiers, a fighter called Berena Elkan, and a Thief called Eler Had.

  3. Here is Gromnir Il-Khan along with an Il-Khan Battle Mage and Karun the Black. As told, you can't reason with Gromnir but will have to kill him and all his buddies. If you can get the two mages with a quick Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting, you will make the battle a LOT easier for yourself!

    Gromnir Il-Khan drops Full Plate Mail +2, the Ice Star +4, a Morning Star +3, the helmet Roranach's Horn, 2 Potions of Extra Healing, 5 Potions of Superior Healing, the Lavender Ioun Stone, a Rogue Stone, and 1,200 GP.

    Korun the Black and the Il-Khan Battle Mage each drop a Quarterstaff +2 and an Adventurer's Robe.

    The Il-Khan Solders each drop Studded Leather Armor +2, a Composite Bow +1, and up to 60 Arrows +1.

    Berena Elkan drops a Spear +3, a few Potions of Extra Healing, and minor treasure.

    Eler Had drops Grandmaster's Armor +6, a Dagger +1, a Potion of Extra Healing, a Potion of Invisibility, and a bit of cash.
