THE UMAR CAVE

This little cave is the hiding place of a Mimic. And also where you will need to come in connection with the second Ranger Stronghold quest.

  1. Here is the exit back to the Umar Hills.

  2. Here is the Mimic that you need to kill for the Mimic Blood quest.

    The chest contains Mimic's Blood, a Diamond, 40 Bullets +1, and 40 Darts +1.

    This is also where you will find Madulf and the shepherd boy he is protecting in connection with the second Ranger Stronghold quest.

  3. In the back of the cave are two Umber Hulks. I advise you to cast Chaotic Commands on any character who goes to meet them, in order to avoid their confusing gazes. Let the protected character take their Confusion spells and then lure them back to the rest of the party. Each Umber Hulk nets the party 4,000 XP.
