Bear Cave

Bear Cave

  1. Here is the cave entrance, which leads back out to the Valewood. It also serves as an exit to the World Map.

  2. BearsIf you're playing on Easy or Medium difficulty, you'll only find the one large Bear here. If you're on Hard, you'll find an extra smaller Bear. If you're on Path of the Damned, maked that two smaller Bears as well. You may want to wait until you've picked up a few companions along the way before coming back and trying out this fight. A full party, give or take a member, should be able to overwhelm the Bear(s) in physical combat. Each Bear will leave behind a Bear Hide.

  3. Cave Corals can be found at locations marked #3.

  4. If you click on this corpse, your main character will be able to speak with the spirit of Perly, which triggers the Vengeance from the Grave task. The short of it is that Nonton hamstrung Perly, leaving him to be devoured by the Bear(s). You can either choose a Benevolent response or a Cruel response in the course of the dialogue. Following up on the task requires confronting Nonton on what he did when you find him in the town of Gilded Vale.

  5. The chest here holds a random weapon.

  6. There is a secret cache here that can only be revealed while in scouting mode. It contains a random armor, a random spell scroll, a two or three Lockpicks
