You will encounter the leader of the Vithracks, Tcharek, here. You could attack him if you wish. However, he also offers The Master's Tools quest.
Another Vithrack named Krivi will be here. He'll drop the hint that he'd like the party to learn the whereabouts of his mate, Issyt.
He'll open up a shop if you complete The Master's Tools quest. His inventory includes a few Exceptional armors, a few scrolls, and some gems.
This table has a grimoire called The Leaves of Essence. An unsuccessful attempt to steal if from the table will cause Krivi to attack you. You could, of course, just kill him for it as well.
However, you can safely take the grimoire from the table without attracting Krivi's hostility after completing The Master's Tools quest.
There will be a horde of Crystal Eaters and Crystal Eater Spiderlings here, led by the Mad Vithrack. The Mad Vithrack leaves behind the Polished Pommel Stone when killed, which is relevant to The Blade of Endless Paths tasks.
The Mad Vithrack also happens to be the same Issyt that Krivi wants to find out about. If you tell him the truth, he won't be upset with you specifically, and in fact will reward you with a Ta Ondra Tara and a Velune for letting him know.

You will find an item from the "Endless Paths - 12th Vithrack - Lower Right Corner Hidden" section of the random drop list in this hidden pile, which can only be discovered while in scouting mode.
