Endless Paths - Level 5

There will be plenty of Xaurips throughout this level. Xuarip Skirmishers will leave behind Xuarip Spears and Medium Shields. The Priests and High Priests will leave behind Xuarip Quarterstaves. All of them will leave behind Xuarip Tongues.

Places with traps will be marked with a 't'.

Endless Paths, Level 5

  1. Here are the stairs back up to the fourth level of Endless Paths.

  2. These stairs lead to Caed Nua at #4.

  3. A barrel here will have a random food item.

  4. A chest here will have Camping Supplies and a random item or two.

  5. A barrel here will have a random scroll, and random gems and / or coins.

  6. A button here will open the gate at #6.

  7. The gate here will open after pressing the button at #5.

  8. There will a few item caches in this room. One of them has coins. Another will have a random armor and a random weapon, usually of Fine quality.

    One of them will have the Ornate Sword Hilt, which is relevant to The Blade of Endless Paths task.

  9. This table has an Expedition Log Page, which provides clues relevant to the Seals of the Endless Paths task.

  10. If the party went down the Sacrificial Pit at #9 of the Endless Paths 2, here is where it will end up.

  11. This urn will have some coins in it.

  12. DrakeThere will be a very large Drake in here, surrounded by several Xuarips, including a couple of Priests. A Diplomatic reply is posible during the brief conversation with it, but a fight will be inevitable. The Drake is capable of a breath attack that resembles a Fireball spell. It also has a passive Fear aura, and can also knock down its targets. A mid-level party nonetheless still has a good chance of wearing it down with sustained pressure. It will leave behind a Drake Talon when killed.

    A skeleton directly below where the Drake had originally been can be looted for an Amulet of Health and a Medium Shield called Ilfan Byrngar's Solace.

  13. There is a hidden cache here that can only be discovered while in scouting mode. It will have an item from the "Endless Paths - 5th Drake" section of the random drop list and some random gems.

  14. These stairs lead down to the sixth level of Endless Paths at #1.
