Endless Paths - Level 13

Frequent foes are Cean Gwlas, which are capable of paralysis attacks, and Adra Animats, which are capable of electrical projectile attacks. The Cean Gwlas leave behind Spirit Residues when killed. The Animats leave behind Engwithan Shields, Engwithan Daggers and Shattered Animat Armors when killed.

Spots with traps will be marked with a 't'. They require at least a Mechanics skill of 11 to disarm safely.

Endless Paths, Level 13

  1. Here are the stairs back up to the twelvth level of Endless Paths.

  2. Here you'll find the Engwithan Machine Part, which is needed for The Master's Tools quest.

  3. There will be spirits here. There is one that you can communicate with, but only if you have previously completed the Undying Heritage quest so as to become fluent in the Engwithan language. You can only speak to this spirit once, during which it will drop vague clues relevant to opening the door at #20.

  4. These urns will have a high-tier gem or two (e.g. Rubies).

  5. This locked chest will have a random scroll and a random gem or two.

  6. There will be an Adra Beetle here, which can make electrical projectile attacks. It will leave behind a Beetle Shell when killed.

  7. You will find an Adra Shell in this pile, which is needed for The Master's Tools quest.

  8. There will be spirits here. There is one that you can communicate with, but only if you have previously completed the Undying Heritage quest so as to become fluent in the Engwithan language. The spirit here will indicate that the people who once resided here took an oath to protect the lord once known as Od Nua. That clue becomes relevant to being able to open the door at #20.

  9. There will be a random food item in this urn.

  10. There will be a Cave Coral here.

  11. There will be two Skaenbones here.

  12. There will be a random scroll and random gemes here.

  13. There will be a random high-tier gem (e.g. Sapphire) here, plus Camping Supplies.

  14. You will find a Gleaming Adra Fragment here, which is needed for The Master's Tools quest.

  15. There will be spirits here. There is one that you can communicate with, but only if you have previously completed the Undying Heritage quest so as to become fluent in the Engwithan language. The spirit here will indicate that the people who once resided here were willing to sacrifice themselves in a way that involved the animats. That clue becomes relevant to being able to open the door at #20.

  16. You can click on this table to open the door at #19, but ONLY if you had selected to obtain knowledgefrom the spirit of Maerwald at the conclusion of The Old Watcher quest. If you elected to free Maerwald's spirit to pass on, or if you had bound his spirit to the Keep of Caed Nua as a Guardian, this option will not be available.

  17. There will be spirits here. There is one that you can communicate with, but only if you have previously completed the Undying Heritage quest so as to become fluent in the Engwithan language. The spirit here will indicate that there was indeed an oath, but that it was changed to reflect hostility towards the past lord named Od Nua. That clue becomes relevant to being able to open the door at #20.

  18. You can open this door by clicking on the table at #16, but ONLY if you had selected to obtain knowledge from the spirit of Maerwald at the conclusion of The Old Watcher quest.

  19. This room will have a unique Sabre called The Flames of Fair Rhian, as long as you can get into the room itself (see notes #16 and #18 above).

    Another hidden container in this room will also have an item from the "Endless Paths - 13th Banshees - Right Most Hidden Room" section of the random drop list.

  20. This door can only be opened after conversing with the spirits at #3, #8, #15 and #17. Speaking with those spirits will allow you to select the dialogue option that starts with "I am an enemy ..." during the scripted interaction so as to open the door.

  21. Guardian of Od NuaHere you'll encounter the Guardian of Od Nua, which is actually a very large version of an Adra Animat. It will be helped by several Adra Animats, a couple of Cean Gwlas, and a couple of Adragans.

    The Adragans will leave behind Awakened Adras when killed. The Guardian will leave behind a unique Battle Axe called the Edge of Reason.

  22. A hidden vase here will have an item from the "Endless Paths - 13th Bashees - Upper Hidden in the Boss Room" section of the random drop list.

  23. These stairs lead down to the fourteenth level of Endless Paths at #1.
