Here is Herrer, who runs the day to day business affairs for Wade. He sells a number of armors, including studded armors made from hardened leather, and heavier armors made from materials such as Dragonbone, Silverite, Red Steel, and Veridium. He also sells Kaddis of the Mountain-Father. He also sells the following two items only after you have completed at least 2 of your treaty missions, one of which must include Redcliffe:
Here is Wade, who makes the armors that Herren sells. There's actually a certain dynamic tension between Herren and Wade that you will be able to exploit once you have found the right materials. Wade finds the making of mundane armors boring, and dreams of pouring his skill and knowledge into crafting the very best and most magificent of armor worthy of the Dwarves. From Herrer's perspective, such an aspiration does not make good business sense, and so he cajoles Wade into making a steady stream of mundane armor to keep the funds flowing.
There are a number of options available to you. One series of options involves Wade making the armor from the base material, but quickly. This also has the added benefit of not having Herrer make you persona non grata in the shop. The options that are available are:
Another set of options involves paying Wade extra sovereigns to make the armor perfect. Note that if you want to get the superior versions of the Dragon Scale armors, you may have to pay the extra sovereigns to commission the Superior Drakeskin set first, and then initiate the dialogue to get a Superior Dragon Scale option. Also, this means that Herren will ban you from his store afterwards since you held up business. Your options include:
