This is where you find yourself when Irenicus has cast his spell on you. To awaken from the dream you must defeat an avatar of Bhaal. However, you must fight him inside, within the sight of Dream-Imoen.
This is where you find yourself at the beginning of the dream. You hear Imoen speaking to you, telling you that you must find her "within". Meaning, you have to go inside Candlekeep and find Imoen there.
(Of course there is also a deeper metaphorical meaning. You have to find yourself inside.)
Here is the entrance to the keep. A Demon is blocking your way and you have to give up something of yourself to pass. There is no way around it so you'll have to give up one point of either Constitution, Intelligence, Wisdom, or Dexterity. Unless I'm playing a Cleric/Mage, I usually give either Intelligence or Wisdom.
Here is where you will find Bhaal in the shape of Sarevok. Once you have spoken to "Imoen" inside, come here and lure him inside to where Imoen is waiting. You must lure him inside and fight him in her sight.
Here are your companions. However, they are disabled. They can't help you in your dreams, after all.
Here is the entrance from the outside.
Here you will find Dream-Imoen. She tells you that "together we must battle your instinct". You must lead the creature to her and fight it within her sight. So, go outside to 3, lure the Avatar of Bhaal that you find there inside, and fight it in when Imoen tells you to.
Once Bhaal is badly injured, you have won. But "Imoen" screams, and you wake up from your nightmare – only to find yourself without your divine soul and about to be thrown into Level 1 of the Asylum Dungeon.
