Here the exit to Crossroad Keep. Throughout these caves are bands of pirates that you’ll have to fight.
Here is Khelgar Ironfist, who is in charge of running Crossroad Keep for the time being. He has a number of tasks for you to help him out with.
The first one is to retrieve the Gloves of Ironfist for him from some Bards that stole it from him. They are located in the Hideout. Bring the Gloves back to Khelgar for 1200xp and 2000gp.
His next task for you is to persuade a mercenary group, led by Nall, to help him train the Greycloak soldiers of the Keep. They can be found in the nearby Phoenix Inn. A successful Bluff or Diplomacy check on Nall will suffice. Come back to Khelgar for 1200xp.
His last task for you is to eliminate a cult of Shadow Priests south of the Keep. They can be found in the Shadow Cult. Bring the good news to Khelgar for 1100xp and 1500gp.
If you talked Quarrel into searching for Ammon Jerro after helping West Harbor deal with its problems, this is where you’ll find him. You can now talk him into joining your party.
