Here is the exit to the Sword Coast. Wandering about the District is Sir Nevalle. Sir Nevalle can help you solve Finch’s quest. Simply bring up the subject, and Nevalle will advise you to speak to Lady Jeanelle, who’s hanging around #4. It won’t take much to convince Lady Jeanelle to speak against her husband, and in Finch’s favor. Bring the news back to Sir Nevalle, and Finch will have his clearance to perform in Neverwinter.
Nevalle has a task of his own for you however. Neverwinter was left with a significant number of orphans after the Shadow War, and he would like you to see to building an orphanage for them in Crossroad Keep. It is a matter of doing a few tasks for Khelgar, who is in the interior of Crossroad Keep. Once you’ve finished his tasks, milk his gratitude to get the orphanage. Speak to Nevalle again for 700xp and 750 trade bars.
Here are some sightseers enjoying the sight of the rest of the district. Not much here.
Here is the Wailing Wench Tavern. Hanging around the entrance is Lady Jeanelle. Inside you’ll find Grykk Bannersworn, a Half-Orc Paladin. Under normal circumstances he will want 1,000gp to join your party. A successful Bluff or Diplomacy check, or the leader having a Lawful Good alignment, can convince him to join your party for free.
Here is a trading post. Before you can use this, you must first gain the patronage of one of the three merchant cartels located inside the nearby Temple of Waukeen. You must then do a task for your patron merchant that involves investigating a shortage of trade goods for the town of Red Leaf, which is located at 37 of the Sword Coast Map. Once that task is finished, your patron merchant will give you permission to use it as a trading post for your company. You must then purchase it from Sir Nevalle for nothing less than 800 trade bars.
