Here is the Red Tree that you’ve heard past references to. Standing beside it are the Telthor spirits of two Wychlaran, Imsha and Tamlith. They’re willing to ply out all sorts of information. They also have a quest for you. They want you to rid the vale of a nearby winter hag known as a Bheur. She happens to be in the nearby Abandoned Mines which can be accessed at #4.
In the meantime, if you have an Anointing Solution you can now you use it. Now click on the base of the Red Tree to touch it.
If the Solution used the Pure Sanctuary Water as its base item then Chauntea is the deity to petition. This shifts your alignment to good and your plea to Chauntea will earn you 1,500 xp and the Blessed Salve of the Earth Mother. This holds out the promise of restoring the forest.
If the Solution used the Legendary Blood as its base item then Malar is the deity to petition. This shifts your alignment towards evil and your plea to Malar will earn you 1,500xp and the Toxic Plantbane of the Beastlord. This threatens the destruction of the forest affected by the blight.
Here is a Moss Stone. If you sleep near it with Gann in your party you’ll get transported to the Moonstone Dreamscape.
