Like Cromwell in Shadows of Amn, the expansion also has a smith who can forge powerful items or make items even more powerful. In Throne of Bhaal, this is your personal "butler" Cespenar whom you will meet at 4 in you Hellish Pocket Plane.
NOTE: Cespenar won't always recognize that you have all the necessary components for an item if some of the components are stored in a Bag of Holding. If you just *know* that you should have all items for something, check your Bag(s) of Holding and move the items to your main inventory.
