Missing Sentries

    First Fires

  1. The entrance to the Crucible Keep is at #11 on the First Fires map.

    2. Crucible Keep

  2. Wyla will be at #3 on the Crucible Keep map. A squad of her Novitiates has gone missing in the Heritage Hill district.

    She'll initially express skepticism that you would be willing to risk yourselves to investigate the trouble. Benevolent, Diplomatic, Passionate and Rational replies are possible in response. There is also an Aggressive reply that will result in a slight accrual of negative reputation with both Defiance Bay and the Knights of the Crucible.

    3. Heritage Hill

  3. You will start off at #1 on the Heritage Hill map. The Justiciar at #2 will not open the gate he is standing next to unless:

    • You offer him a bribe.
    • You make a Might check of 18.
    • You drop Wyla's name after having accepted the task.

    He will indicate that he's heard a woman's voice and some shuffling towards the northeast corner.

  4. LeyraThe missing sentries can be found inside a crypt at #6. Their commander, Leyra, has become a Cean Gwla capable of paralyzing party members. The rest of her squad have become undead Enthralled Justiciars. They will attack no matter what you say. Do whatever you can to bolster your defenses against paralyzation, and take out Leyra first and foremost. The Enthralled Justificiars will leave behind Swords, Medium Shields, Helms and Crucible Plate Armors.

  5. Now return to Wyla and inform her of the unfortunate fate of the squad. A Cruel way of breaking the news to her is available, although it does not have any repercussions beyond your own disposition. She will reward you with 1,000cp, a major gain of positive reputation with the Knights of the Crucible, and a moderate gain of reputation with Defiance Bay.
