Maiden’s Glade

Maidens Glade map

En route to Highcliff you get ambushed by a Bladeling and some Duergar. Your stalker finally makes herself known by intervening on your behalf.

Meeting ElaneeOnce the battle is over, you have a rather auspicious meeting with Elanee, an Elven Druid who will join your party. Much to Neeshka’s chagrin that is. Elanee will then prevail upon you to seek Highcliff through the Maiden’s Glade.

1. Upon entering the Glade, you get attacked by four Wolves. This causes Elanee to believe that something is amiss since the local Druids would normally be keeping things stable.
2.Here you’ll fight a bunch of Wolves and Dire Badgers.
3. And here it’s a bunch of Wolves and Dire Boars.
4. Huge Enraged BearHere you’ll fight a Huge Enraged Bear. Beware, he can dish out some pretty hefty damage and take a fair bit himself. Buff yourself up with spells and potions beforehand if you need to. The bear turns out to be a Druid who was trapped in both insanity and in animal form by an evil force that has infected the local area. You get 200xp for putting him out of his misery.
5. World Map Transition, from which the party can now reach Highcliff.
