FOREST OF MIR

Master Wraith

I now travel to the Forest of Mir. I rest up in the Pocket Plane, and then continue westwards. Jaheira continues to use the Holy Buckler of Amaunator for now. The party runs into the Master Wraith, who tries to gain a psychological advantage over Avastrian by pretending to be Gorion and having a minion pretend to be Khalid in order to upset Jaheira.

Combat soon follows. I let the undead spirits close in on me. Jaheira adds a Defensive Harmony to minimize against level-draining as much as possible. Imoen summons a Planetar. Anomen and Keldorn blow most of them away outright with a double-shot of Sunray. That leaves the Master Wraith, who is soon killed by the Planetar.

*Evil* Master Wraith

Here is for interest's sake the equivalent video for the evil party, where Viconia gets taunted with an image of her dead brother.

Nymph's Tear

I continue west. I then run into several Skeletons who had once been worshippers of Bhaal when they were mortal. They include a Skeleton Mage, a Skeleton Cleric, and a Skeleton Assassin who will repeatedly use Potions of Invisibility and attempt backstabs. I take no chances here. Keldorn immediately aims a Dispel Magic at the Mage and the Cleric. Jaheira begins to summon an Elemental Prince. Imoen immediately goes into a Time Stop, and then tries to catch as many as she can with two Horrid Wiltings, and then caps it with a Prismatic Spray aimed to the left. The Cleric at least dies outright. I am soon able to clean up on the Assassin and the Warriors, although Jaheira did find it necessary to use Heal on nearby Sarevok, who was taking a beating.

Soon only the Mage is left. I then fall back on the familiar theme of keeping a distance and letting magic resistant summons keep the Mage occupied. I also replace them as needed. For example, Keldorn brings in an Astral Deva after the Planetar is unsummoned. Jaheira brings in another Elemental Prince after Sunnis is unsummoned. It's only a matter of time before the Mage gets disrupted by the Deva.

I then turn to the north east, killing a few Ghasts and Mummies along the way. I hit the 'tab' key to find a small niche. Inside the niche is the Nymph's Tear. I will end up using this to create a Druid-specific ring for Jaheira.

Nyalee

The party goes to the base of some stairs to the left. Imoen goes invisible, sneaks up on a group of undead, and blows most of them away outright with a Skull Trap. Keldorn picks off the lone survivor with his Azuredge.

I then go to the top of the platform, and speak with a Witch named Nyalee. She will be able to end Yaga-Shura's invulnerability if I bring her both Yaga-Shura's heart and her own heart.

Now it's time to head for the Marching Mountains.
