Darkspawn Tunnels

Darkspawn Tunnels

  1. Here is the way back to the Tower of Ishal.

  2. You'll have to battle a few Genlocks here. A chest at the east alcove of this room holds a random item or two.

  3. Here you'll have to battle a few Corrupt Spiders.

  4. You'll have to fight a few Darkspawn led by a Hurlock Emissary along this tunnel. The south alcove along the tunnel has a chest with a random item or two.

  5. In this room, you'll have to fight two waves of Corrupt Spiders. A chest along the eastern wall of this room will have a random item or two.

  6. Here is the entrance back to Ostagar, but this time at the southern edge at #20.

AlistairYou may remember from a long ago cutscene when an Ogre killed King Cailan, and then Duncan killed the Ogre leaving his sword and dagger stuck inside. Once you leave the Darkspawn tunnels, you'll happen upon the same Ogre lying dead. Only, the Genlock Necromancer shows up and resurrects the Ogre, so that it fights you as a Risen Ogre. The Genlock Necromancer will then bend the corner and hang well back. Take out the Ogre as fast as you can, and then make for the Necromancer. The reason is that the Necromancer is going to raise undead against you non-stop, and the numbers can get pretty alarming pretty quick. The Genlock Necromancer leaves behind Cailan's Helm so as to complete the Cailan's armor set. Loot the Risen Ogre's body for Duncan's Sword and Duncan's Dagger.
