Getting Here: Mazzy will place Trademeet on your world map.
Getting Here: Speaking with Flydian in the Bridge District will place Trademeet on your world map.
"A respectable and well known Trade Centre for merchants found in and around Amn, but whispers are that lately, the
trade here has not been doing very well, at least not how it used to be when Waukeen was there. A well balanced blade and some magic would be your best
bet now and of course, be wary of pick pockets and scum who have moved to Trademeet."
"There ain't much to choose from, but if you wait around long enough for the sun to begin to settle in the west, some of my good
pals will come out for the night. Their goods may not be as wide in variety as say those in the Trademeet, but those goods you do come
across will be very useful indeed!"
Let it be known that the majority of the merchants found within Trademeet will not be stocked
until the Djinn have been run out of town.

A well stocked merchant before the Djinn threat arrived in Trademeet but due to
recent problems with the area, getting anything for sale is a very large problem. This of course is one of the merchants who reside in
Trademeet and one who is affected by the Djinn who have taken control of the merchant trade caravans that make their
way to the town.
It would be wise for any band of brave warriors who come this way to settle the issue that the Djinn have
brought to the town's attention and by doing so, will also remove them once and for all from Trademeet allowing the
caravans to restock the merchants along the inner walls.
The items this particular merchant receives are well worth your time in investigating the Djinn problem and
of course, bringing the conflict to an end.

Standing not too far away from the above merchant is Wallace, a male dwarf whose selection is not as wide as his competitor's

threat will have to be removed from Trademeet before Wallace will be able to offer any of the listed items below.
If you are looking for some extra potions to carry during your journey or perhaps an extra scroll case, Wallace is
the merchant to head to for those needs.

There is little enjoyment felt from the room's atmosphere as you walk through the double oaken doors of
this tavern. Not even the piano that rests off to the right is being played as the crowd itself seems down and worried about the
events that have been taking shape in Trademeet. Seven wooden tables are scattered through the common
room, some empty while others occupied by low, hanging faces who barely even lift an eyebrow to the party.
If it's information you're seeking, best you make your way to the bar and have a word with Vyatri, the owner
of the establishment as the majority of others found here won't have too much to say to you except for the obvious about the events at hand.
You will also be able to find rest here amid all the long faces and a quiet rest one will have as well since no one is really up to causing
any trouble, singing song or telling a tale.
If you happen to come here after Trademeet
has been returned to normal, you will come across two guards from two
separate noble families, that being an Alibakkar Guard and the other a
Lurraxol Guard. Blood will be spilt here either way and your involvement,
if any is up to you and will only escalate if you decide to assist either
of the noble families mentioned with their own, personal feud.

nod their heads to you as you approach but not stop you from heading inside.
Within, you will be welcomed by a very
well furnished home with candles hanging from golden holders off the wall,
giving a warm, welcoming glow to each chamber room while a fountain of cool,
clear water recycles and fills a lovely laid out stone pool.
Three Alibakkar Guards keep watch of the home while its owner, Lord Skarmaen Alibakkar
is away on personal business. He will return and can be found here after he has spoken to you and the party during

This very large building is the home of the
High Merchant Logan Coprith, Mayor of Trademeet

around the town. Lavished furniture and pieces of art make much of the inner
rooms that you'll find yourself in and along with them, Guildmistress Busya
and some of Lord Logan's personal guards.
The stairs that lead downward will take
you to the holding cells where Lord Coprith places those under arrest

who they believe is causing the troubles in Trademeet
and upon speaking with Logan Coprith, will tell you to go down and have
a word with him.

you there. Of course, taking him is up to you and personally for myself,

If by chance you happened to have gone through the Temple Ruins during your stay in Umar Hills, then you
most likely would have come across Mazzy Fentan who was being held against her will within the dark passages below. It is here that her family and herself
live and she can be found within if you happened to let her go from your party or never took her as a companion to begin with.
A warm fire crackles in the fireplace, both giving heat and light to this small room, where the entire Fentan family resides and in such tight quarters,
it's no wonder Mazzy wishes to get out on some adventure and if she is not here when you arrive, it's because she already has her hands full out in
Umar Hills or perhaps is already in your party.
Take some time to say hello to her siblings and of course, both her parents if you're close by.

LOGAN COPRITH'S DRUID GROVE QUEST |
Attained from the High Merchant Logan Coprith, found within the Mayor's House, he will ask that you look into
the current troubles that have begun to circle Trademeet and the Druid's Grove. It
seems like more and more animals have begun to get closer and closer to Trademeet and each time, only bring more
terror to those who live within as they continue to attack anyone in sight. Logan Coprith has captured one of the Druid's that he believes
is responsible for these attacks and it is Cernd who can be found in his cell and who will join the party as
well as show you where the Druid Grove is.
Saving Trademeet from the Shadow Druid's threat will earn each party member 25,250xp and 10,750gp.
GUILDMISTRESS BUSYA'S DJINNS QUEST |
Now that you're a local hero, it seems like Guildmistress Busya would like you to solve the problems surrounding the merchant caravan blockade that
the Djinns have set up outside of Trademeet. Looking into this will require some detective work on your part by speaking with
the Djinns found outside in their tents.
Completion of Guildmistress Busya's quest will earn the party 7,500gp and a Small Shield of Harmony as well as +1 to your reputation from Logan Coprith
and an extra 2,000gp.
HELP THE DJINN FIND THE RAKSHASHA |
The reason the Djinn have been taking the caravan and trade away from Trademeet is because there is a Rakshasha that they are looking
for who is hiding out somewhere in Trademeet or the surrounding area. The locals have not done much to help the Djinn find this person
so they had no other options but to force the locals to assist them. This is where you'll come in as you learn some information required to solving this mystery
and bringing this Rakshasha to justice. Speaking with Khan Zahraa, the head Djinn in one of the tents situated outside of Trademeet will
begin this quest.
Ending this quest will earn the party 10,000xp and will also be given a Scimitar +2 "Rashad's Talon" from Khan Zahraa himself.
THE WARING NOBLE FAMILIES OF TRADEMEET |
Word spreads quickly in such a small place and it is Lady Lilith Lurraxol and Lord Skarmaen Alibakkar that will approach you after
Logan Coprith has completed his speech and each Noble Family will ask for your assistance in obtaining what is rightfully theirs.
That item of course is the MANTLE OF WAUKEEN which is found within
a locked tomb in the graveyard.
Whoever you decide to help will be no different in reward as both Noble Families will only offer 1,000gp so pick either one to receive
the TOMB KEY. On your way there you will be met
by Logan Coprith who will ask that you return the MANTLE OF WAUKEEN
to him to save the blood that will be spilt if you give it to either Noble Family.
This is where things get interesting for you.
If you return the MANTLE OF WAUKEEN to Logan Coprith, not only
will you stop the bloodshed by both Noble Families but you will only earn 8,000xp, receive 250gp and get a Reputation +1.
Thanks to Fergus for the heads up as I missed the Reputation reward you receive from Logan Coprith!
If you take it to either Noble Family, depending on which one you selected (and it does not matter which one either for the outcome below) the party
will have to fight both Noble Families and their guards who come for the MANTLE OF WAUKEEN.
Doing this will earn 1,000gp for handing over the MANTLE OF WAUKEEN as well
as 174xp per guard you will have to fight, 4,000xp for killing Lord Skarmaen Alibakkar and 2,000xp for bringing down Lady Lilith Lurraxol. Adding to this will be a
fine suit of Elven Chain Mail that Lord Skarmaen Alibakkar was wearing during the battle.
Which you decide to go with of course, is fully up to you.
HELP SAVE RAISSA FROM REJIEK HIDESMAN |
Rejiek Hidesman got away in The Bridge District and it is to Trademeet he has come to hide out and complete his
task of making human armor but there is only one problem and that is your meddling!
Jenia will approach you if you come to Trademeet anytime after the encounter with Rejiek Hidesman in The Bridge District
and speak of her son who has become troubled. Seems like Rejiek Hidesman is at it again and has taken his lady Raissa captive and asks for your help.
Completion of this quest will earn the party 30,000xp for saving Raissa, plus 1414xp for killing Rejiek Hidesman and his sidekick Darsidian Moor. Return to speak with
Tiris' parents Jenia and Gristor and you will also receive a reputation bonus of +1.

An interesting place to say the least and a quick stop during your travels full of a few quests that will
not take you very long to complete. At most, you can finish this in a few hours if you keep at it by exploring
every part of Trademeet and learn what is going on and then do your best to solve it.
I enjoyed Trademeet due to its quickness and it didn't seem to drag on as some of the previous
adventures I had gone on.
The area keeps to the feel of the story, as
Djinns have taken over the local merchant trade,
stopping all caravans to the city and charging
large amounts of gold for the items they are selling,
which the locals can far from afford. On top of
that, there is a recent problem with the Druids
in the area, who have been sending wave after
wave of animals to assault Trademeet.
With the Djinn stopping all merchant caravans
into the city and the continuing assault of the
animals, Trademeet is
looking for some heroes to save them. That of
course, will be you.
The trip to the Druid's Grove is short at best and is very easy to whip through in an hour or less
and once you're done here, you can be on your way to do other quests until you come across others during your
adventures that will bring you back.
In the end, I was glad to get this over with so I could return
to the city and start getting on with the main
story and was more than happy it went by quickly
but don't get me wrong. Trademeet
was an enjoyable place to visit and I loved the
local power houses within the town after I was
declared a hero. Good job on that because it sucked
me right back into things.

During my stay in Trademeet I had the chance to switch up my party group and add
Mazzy Fentan but she didn't pull to me as some of the other well made NPCs
found within the game and I passed her offer up very quickly. After being with her in the Temple Ruins
I wasn't very impressed with her at all and I'm not one to have party members sitting back shooting arrows at the enemy and
nothing more. I like a character who can mix it up in the front lines or mixing it up with magic and even though Mazzy Fentan
could hold her own with a blade, the party I had already was getting better and better with each area I was visiting.
So, in the end, my party didn't change this time around and I'm not sure if it will, unless of course anyone of the
remaining NPCs I have yet to meet make a large impact on me. With Trademeet completed, it was the
last leg of places outside of Athkatla I could travel to, at the moment that is, so it was back to the city to complete
the district quests and then off to begin Chapter 3.
Also, on another note regarding romances, it would seem after completing all of The Harper Quests and letting Jaheira make
up her own mind after I told her what she did, I would back her up fully, that Aerie stopped speaking with me and she has
not said anything for sometime now. Not a big deal anyways, but just a note to anyone who would be interested.
My party during Trademeet and after, consisted of the following:
