Sign-up Details

To purchase and activate your SPS account, please take the following steps:

1) Ensure that you have a regular (free) member account registered on our forums.

2) Purchase your SPS account here (details below).

3) Wait for the confirmation e-mail with additional instructions to arrive (up to 24 hours). The e-mail will be sent to the address your PayPal donation came from. If you would like to be contacted at another e-mail (or via a PM on the forums), you can specify this in a note on the donation page, or notify us after you have made the donation.

NOTE: If you donate via a PayPal bank transfer, please include your contact e-mail or forum name in a note when you donate.

Primary Sign-up Method - PayPal

To donate online using PayPal, simply click the appropriate PayPal button below. A PayPal account is not required in order to make payments -- you can simply use your credit or debit card of choice. Please review the SPS terms before signing up.

By purchasing an SPS account, you agree that you fully understand the following:
  • You understand that this is a voluntary donation that grants you additional features, and that you are not required to pay anything to use the site and forums.

  • You understand that when posting on our forums, you are still bound by the rules set there, and that breaking those rules will result in appropriate action being taken against you by the moderators. The fact that you are an SPS account holder will not exempt you from having to comply with our forum rules.

  • The payment is a voluntary donation, and as such is non-refundable. It is NOT a payment for a service and does NOT imply any contract -- the extra features are just our way of saying "thank you", and may change at any time.

  • If you have any problems, please contact us. We will make sure to work with you until everything is resolved to your satisfaction.
In celebration of 25 years of Sorcerer's Place, all subscriptions made until the end of the current month will have their subscription duration doubled! E.g. choosing the "6 months SPS subscription" below will make it last a full year. Thank you for your support!

Custom SPS subscription, with a 2-year subscription minimum. This option allows you to freely choose the amount of money you would like to donate. Your subscription period will be calculated at only $30/year. E.g., $60 = 2 years, $90 = 3 years, etc.

Leaving Notes with Your Donation

The option to add a note with your donation shows on the "review your donation" page, just before you finalize the donation. It looks like this:

When you click on the [+] button or the "Donation Notes" text link, it expands and allows you to type a message to send with your donation.

To purchase an SPS account for a friend, you need to take the following steps:

1) Ensure that the person you're getting an account for has a regular, free member account registered on our forums.

2) Purchase your friend's SPS account here (details above).

3) Wait for the confirmation e-mail with additional instructions to arrive (up to 24 hours). The e-mail will be sent to the address your PayPal donation came from. If you would like to be contacted at another e-mail (or via a PM on the forums), you can specify this in a note on the donation page, or notify us after you have made the donation.

4) After you've received the confirmation e-mail from us, reply that you would like the purchased SPS account assigned to another person, and provide their e-mail or forum name. Please also specify whether you want the person you got the SPS account for to know that you've purchased it on their behalf, or that you wish to remain anonymous.
