Cayron's Scar

Cayron's Scar

  1. Here is the initial point of entry when the party first arrives in Cayron's Scar. It also provides access to the White March map.

  2. You will find a Tyn Hat here.

  3. You will find a Brintwyn Ban here.

  4. You will find Ryngyr Berries here.

  5. You'll encounter a large pack of Lagufaeth here, including Lagufaeth Barbarians and Lagufaeth Ciphers. They leave behind their usual Clubs, Lagufaeth Spears, Lagufaeth Stilettoes and Lagufaeth Livers when killed.

Their leader, Chief Red-Maw, leaves behind a ring called the Iron Circle when killed.

  6. You can use your Watcher abilities to read the soul of the corpse here. The discovery is that the man fled for his life from the Eyeless, but then got ambushed and killed by the Lagufaeth.

  7. You will get attacked by a large group of Ondrite Fanatics of varying classes here. Ondrite Fighters leave behind Exceptional Swords, Fine Plate Armors and either Exceptional Medium Shields or Exceptional Large Shields. Priests leave behind Fine Morningstars and Fine Breastplates. Ciphers leave behind Fine War Bows and Fine Leather Armor. Wizards leave behind Fine Robes, Fine Wands and Grimoires of the Tides. A War Dog will also leave behind an Elder Wolf Fang.

  8. A trapped urn here will have a few gems.

  9. Master DiomettoThere will be another large force of Ondrite Fanatics here, led by a Monk named Master Diometto. Fighting alongside them will be a Winter Wolf and an Elder Spotted Stelgaer. Besides the usual loot left behind by the other Ondrite Fanatics, Master Diometto will personally leave behind:
The Winter Wolf will leave behind a Wolf's Hide, while the Elder Spotted Stelgaer leaves behind an Elder Stelgaer's Tooth.

  10. A trapped chest here will have a random scroll and a random potion.

  11. A trapped chest here will have a random scroll and two sets of Camping Supplies.

  12. There will be a couple of Snow Bears here. They leave behind Elder Bear Claws when killed.

  13. Here are a series of ice floes. There are a few options to get across safely to the other side without any injuries based on enlarging the floes themselves temporarily:

    • The Druid's Winter Wind spell.
    • The Chanter's Rime and Rost Follows the Footsteps of Karth.
    • The Wizard's Blast of Frost spell.

If you don't have any of these options, you can try to jump across without any magical aid. However, any characters with Dexterity less than 14 are likely to end up with injuries. It may be safer to go north the long way around and get across at #14.

  14. You can get across to the frozen lake at this point.

  15. There will be a large force of Lagufaeth here.

  16. Eyeless Hammers and Eyeless Stonepiercers will patrol throughout the frozen lake in the southwestern corner of the area. However, there will be quite a few gathered about these spots. They leave behind Binding Coppers and Vessel Flesh when killed.

  17. A few Eyeless and several Tentacles will attack you here.

  18. Several Eyeless will guard the entrance to the Ionni Brathir Fragment.

  19. Here is the entrance to the Ionni Brathr Fragment.

  20. This exit provides access to the White March Map.
