In what order do you fasten your trousers?

  1. Button First, then zip up

Button Flys are the only safe way to insure total winkie protection. Otherwise, it takes only one wrong zip and... :D

Ida know, dude...I've been drunk enough to button my biznit.

The only "safe" options are sweat pants or going pants-less. Rockin' it Winnie the Pooh style.

I would love to be able to Pooh-it, but for some reason i don't think the Judge would agree. The "Well your honor, there i was, minding my own business.." defense would sadly crumble.:p

Judge: What do you have to say for yourself, son?
You: Your honor, I contend I'm doing nothing wrong.
Judge: You're in blatant violation of our decency laws.
You: Decent? I'm just rockin' it Pooh-style, playa! What could be more decent?
Judge: Hmm...(looks on proudly) yes...indeed you are, son. Set this man free!

That's better than the Chewbacca defense.

Button and then zip. Oh, and then normally belt.

I'm not really sure why anyone would do it any other way. Buttoning first gives you a stable position to zip from- if you try it the other way around, then you've got two fiddly actions instead of one.
