yet another patch issue

    [​IMG] greetings friends, I recently downloaded the game online via Happypuppy's Boonty downloaded. After submitting my 20 bucks i sought out the patches as the game as you know barely works without em. I constantly get the error message "Cannot locate TOEE, Any English, on your computer." I tried renaming some of the files and downloading the unofficial patch and all 3 of the official ones. Are they not compatible because I didnt buy the hardcopy version of the game? If so im rather angry as the game is terrible as is and I feel like should have threw my 20 bucks into the street instead! If anyone can help me out Id really appreciate it!

    [​IMG] Yep, I'm pretty sure the patches (official and unofficial) will only work properly with the retail version of the game. Looks like you're screwed... doubly so, because the retail value of ToEE has been under $10 for the last two years... You can get it for a few bucks through Amazon Marketplace via our Game Store at http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/Store/index_pc.php
