    Yeah, yeah ... I went to see Iron Man 2 tonight (very entertaining; recommended movie) and a colleague took a photo of the cast with his phone and immediately put in on his facebook page.

    Except for that I am drunk-ish, and will thus refrain from any serious posting tonight.

    Because the neanderthal comment would have been mean indeed. Not being a slave to hi-tech stuff doesn't make one a caveman. I never said it should be pronounced in the same way. Take it as an eye rhyme if you want.

    First thing mom bought me when I went to uni was a city map. :D

    Still use it whenever I need to go somewhere new. Opening it up and working out all the bus and trolley lines = fun.

    Though, tbh, when I should really know where I'm going, half the time I end up just wandering around until a familiar landmark pops up.

    Ordered Spell Law for Rolemaster via amazon. Rec'd Arms Law instead. Morons! Already own Arms Law. Contacted the shipper, he told me to keep it. Like I need 2 copies:rolleyes:. Hopefully someone in my gaming group will buy it.

    I have no internet at home for the time being so whenever someone tells me "meet us on this street" I get out my trusty map, look for the street, try to estimate where the house number would fall, then go there and try to find the place. Good fun :)

    [​IMG] I'm fine, there was some sort of alarm in a shopping centre that was just outside 'normal' hearing range - Kev could just about hear it but it was piercing to me. So it set off one of my episodes.

    Ack, good grief! I just went to my favourite pub and to the table next to me there was some pimpled, bespectacled prick with rastas spouting ... nonsense. It wasn't just that, but also the voice and his smug expression and the fact that his three infatuated buddies eagerly soaked up whatever this fountain of smart spilled --- extraordinary pearls of wisdom like this gem:
    :sick: :grr: :mad: :flaming: And nobody told him to stfu already. Once I started noticing him, and his weirdly pitched voice, I couldn't ignore him any more. It was harrowing. It was so bad I had to leave and go to another pub. May his acne continue to get worse!

    PS: We need a puke icon, really. Those four icons --- they don't come close to what I want to express.
