If you can find it, Look for Worldwide Ultraviolence!

It opens with Gage, Pain and Wifebeater against three guys from Japan, two matches between Zandig and Wifebeater, two between Justice Pain and Zandig, as well as Zandig versus some guy in England and a tag team match in Japan with some interestig use of a ladder...

So what did you think of Justice Pain? One of his best matches definitively is VS Wifebeater in the Cage of Death. Wifebeater actually injured his shoulder during the match and was out for a full year...

Pain was pretty good. I'm way behind on watching the stuff I'm downloading though...

I may get some time tomorrow to address a bit of that...

Reminds me of the Joker/Chris Cash ladder match at COD5. Not your typical ladder match with something to grab down. No, a plain ol' regular pinfall/submission match where you have the full liberty of destroying your opponent with multiple ladders, including a 20 foot one. That Joker Driver through the table was FREAKING SWEET.

I'd say just firing Russo might be a marked improvement. I mean.. why does anyone hire this guy, except as a clown at college frat parties? Quite possibly the only way his ideas may make sense is if you are almost terminally intoxicated.

Speaking of which, I hope we see a Punk/Sandman feud, ideally with Sandman winning. Failing that, I heard RVD might make a comeback if the price is right - after all, no one gets as high as Rob, so it should be an enjoyable match.

I have a DVD where Wade Keller sits down with Russo and Ed Fierra, where they spell out how they go about managing the roster and the story lines. The process is sound, but they just lack the talent. Further, there is a Story in Eric Bischoff's book where Eric worked out the story line one way and Russo came in and completely ruined it--leading to the point of a 7 digit law suit stemming from Russo's comments--on the air during the Pay Per View--while sticking it to Eric. He knows how to keep the story lines moving, but he has no talent for writing them and an over-inflated sense of his own authority.

I'd love to see Sandman in CZW. It seems more to be his element. He's not a fancy wrestler, but he's an entertaining brawler.

RVD would fit more where the promoter has the money to pay him and is not afraid to let him be RVD. He called himself the whole ****ing show, let him back it up! Shawn Michaels only rose to the top because nobody went out of their way to keep him down. I think RVD has that kind of talent...

Sandman has intentions to retire before the end of 2008. He's gonna take care of the bookings he has left and retire. As for RVD, I doubt we'll see him anytime soon, not with his wife who got cancer.

On a different note, "BAM! SOMEONE CALL 9-1-1!"

It's one of the signature phrases of John House, also known as CZW's color commentator. He usually screams it when a sick bump happens - like Mondo eating a Mother F'N Bomb on a log cabin light tube on top of three rows of stacked tables, Lobo DVDing two guys through tables, Wifebeater sideslams Adam Flash into 1,000,000 (you read that right) thumbtacks, Adam Flash Spearing Ian Knoxx in the 1,000,000 thumbtacks, Trent Acid Yakuza kicking Ian Knoxx from the suspended part of the cage crashing down through tables. In short, whenever the action is good.

And on a different note, I really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really wish the rumors of Justice Pain returning to CZW come true. You're not a 4-time World Heavyweight Champion for no reason (titles have meaning in CZW, yes, yes), and when your big brother is a close friend of Zandig, a three-time CZW World Heavyweight Champion, and is a really badass mofo called Nick Gage, I'd say the outcome looks favorable. The H8 Club could become a stable... Pain/Gage/Hatred. I have shivers just thinking about the possibility of this Apocalyptic trio. Have Gage/Hatred do a Tag title run and Pain a World Championship... or, even SICKER, Gage as Ironman (or UVU), Hatred as UVU (or Ironman) and Pain as World Champion. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Wasn't there something about RVD and some substance abuse? Like rumors of smoking more pot in one year than the average hippie commune did in the entire 60's?

That's exactly why Vince doesn't want him. He likes his dope and is very open about it. It also makes him a risky proposition for TNA if they want to be media friendly. RVD is RVD. He is very talented, but he has a headache for the PR department with him. It makes him politically undesireable for WWE and possibly TNA...

Did he make any public announcements to that effect at any time? As far as I know he was quite over in WWE, and it's not like St. Jeff Hardy has been completely blameless in that regard.

I think he and Sabu got busted with pot a couple years ago. Basically he finished out his contract, and never got another one...

I think the only reason Jeff got to come back is because he would have been a top draw in TNA if Vince didn't do something.

Marty, yes, this match dates back to the Pain/Wifebeater vs Gage/Hatred era, and this perticular match was for the rights to the H8 Club name - but Gage turned on Hatred and Pain turned on Wifebeater to form a new era of the H8 Club, and in my opinion, Gage/Pain was the BEST H8 Club era EVER. I like Nate Hatred, don't get me wrong, but Pain and Gage are blood brothers, and you can't top the kind of chemistry two brothers have. I have a younger brother, so I know the drill.

Well, Cyber Sunday has come and gone. Basically there were no surprises really. Batista is the champ, Taker took out Big Show...

Well, one surprise, I thought for sure that HHH would be in the triple threat with Jeff and Kozlov...

Wish We Were Entertaining are a bunch of moronic monkeys on crack. Suck & that stoned black dude, WTTC? Give me a break.

And Batista? Give me a [censored] break.

Now excuse me while I go watch some more CZW. The TOD is awesome, BTW. Wifebeater sideslaming Necrobutcher through four stacked and two flaming tables. Or Hardcore Nick Gage VS the Necrobutcher. Wifebeater VS Mad Man Pondo. Wifebeater giving JC Bailey an asswhipping like he never ever had it in his life.

    Classic.

They had to have someone dethrone Priceless, and for whatever reason, they want to push Punk and Kingston. Hell if they want to push Punk, let him actually use a few wrestling moves! FFS, Watching the crap that they spew out would have some of the old timers rolling in their graves--even the ones that aren't dead yet!

ION: "Special Delivery" Jones passed away. Sure he was a jobber when I started watching wrestline in the late 1980's, but he has two notorious places in the history of the era: First, he was Andre the Giant's partner in the infamous haricut match. Second, he was squashed in 9 seconds by King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania I.

May he rest in peace. Jobbers are the unsung heroes of wrestling - the guys who do their best so that someone ELSE would look like gold, even when he's not.

As for Cyber Sunday, I'll comment when I see it. Yet it is quite ironic that after CM Punk's humongous push, now he has been delegated to one of the least respected titles in WWE. Well, I won't exactly mind if at least Punk/Kofi make a decent tag team (unless Punk actually shows what made him famous in the indies, but hey - haven't seen it, don't know it), but I rather doubt it.

TBH, I'm not sure those two were the best possible team, but let's be honest - there isn't exactly a plethora of face tag teams on Raw, is there? Especially people who actually get cheered? Cody and Ted Jr, for all their talk, have not really done that much. They don't have good opponents to have good matches with, perhaps - but if they are to be taken seriously with all that talk, they need to do something every now and then. Even a heel needs some kind of conflict for character development ;) . Similar reasoning may apply to what Kofi's doing there himself he's fairly new, and even with having been given the IC title for a short while needs a bit more credibility. Punk... well, I guess there is little for him to do at the moment, and he's popular enough to give him a spot on TV. After all, he's not going to be gunning for the big title in the immediate future (things may change when Orton gets back); the Powers-that-be seem willing to continue the "Honk-a-meter" story for Santino and the IC title - so perhaps they reasoned, why not give him something to do, maybe a belt to hold, that kind of thing? If it actually does go somewhere (though again, I doubt it - Punk is being primed for a feud with Orton, quite clearly) and manages to make a tag team match interesting for the first time in years, so much the better.

So, Cena is back on Survivor. Considering how bad the current face roster on RAW is, I actually feel slightly... positive. Presuming he's not made into an unstoppable juggernaut again, of course. Mind you, I'm looking much more hopeful about seeing Umaga, Edge and... heck, Kizarny. Speaking of which, is Kennedy coming back?
