I decided to try the CoM mod and it adds some really tough fights. The gear resulting from these fights is far beyond anything else in BG1, so if you're able to win, its worthwhile.

I find myself having to resort to tactics that I previously would never use...for example I might have to peel 1 of the NPC's to a remote area on the map and kill it alone. Then rest to regain my hold person, command words, etc before fighting another one.

The additional items/upgrades available on the dwarf in the FAI are the main reason that I like this mod so I'm considering using ctrl-y on the uber NPC enemies and let their gear just rot....though it is some really great armor/weapons without a doubt.

Problem for me is I play on the highest difficulty and when they hit my lvl 2 and lvl 3 guys, they chunk them. In my first encounter with one of these battles, one of the duergar clerics actually chunked my entire party...total wipeout.

Just wanted to post that I really like this mod for the items but those fights are hella hard.

I also wanted to ask about a couple of files I have lost. These files increased the stacking limits of arrows, bolts and bullets. I lost them on a HD replacement and haven't been able to locate them anyplace. Someone able to help me with this.

Some thoughts about another good mod, Firewalker....I like the stacking of ammo and some of the new items are really interesting, particularly the druidic things. I don't care for the removal of the stat increasing tomes, but I really do like that new NPC's always join at level 1 so you can guide their advancement.
