[IMG] Well, it's out. I've got it. Enjoying it.

For those who are level 60 it offers 10 new levels of content, increased difficulty and... well... lots and lots and lots of other stuff. Two new races, one is pretty the other is awesome.

So, who has it, is going to get it? Why? Why not?

I want it. I don't have wow itself, but I plan to get both of them.

I've got wow, got a few level 60 chars. I got fed up of playing it quite a few weeks back because the game just turned into a mass PVP fest. I think I'll give it a few weeks or months to see what people make of this before I get it.

It took a French guy less than 24 hours to reach 70, FYI.

That's it. I have to finally see what this fuss is about this game, especially since I like of RPG-games too. Went and bought WoW and installing it ATM, so hopefully it was worth the 19.90 € I spend to it.

    I so hate wasting money...

I'm really enjoying it since there's a new swarm of players coming back into the game. The economy is a little bogus as people are coming to terms with the value of the new crafting skill.

The new races are pretty, not just as in attractive I mean the models and animations look nice.

It's more content to a brilliant game. Barmy doesn't like the PvP aspect but frankly it's what I love about it.

Now that I have fast internet connection, I may be interested, but I need some information: is the game RTS like Warcraft 3? You play races or just characters, like Diablo 2?
Why people seems to have little RL when playing this game? Is too adictive or is just that you have to play alot to level your character?
There's a special offer here where you can buy both games and have a two months free suscription.

It's not RTS. It's RPG. It has some elements of action in it but it's mostly strategic/tactical RPG where you decide what ability to use at what time to the best effect.

It's so addictive because there is such a huge player base and a constant drive to imporve your character in order to compete against other characters.

Put it simply it's like NWN, with way more players, in the Warcraft universe.

@ Sydax: It has been, thus far, rather okay. Worth the 20 bucks I paid, but I'm kinda annoyed by the fact that there is now a 10-day free trial available, so I could had saved the money and still given the game a go. :bash:

The game itself is a streamlined RPG. You don't spend points to stats, but you can manage your equipment and skills. Of these, equipment management is hindered by silly "level requirments", which prevent you from getting good gear early on.

So the game is kind of a slow starter. You pretty much start alone, but later on teaming up becomes, or so it seems, like a good idea. I'm currently a lv.8 nightelf priest and the Silverweb Spinner is giving me trouble. I'm guessing this is because I haven't done grinding, which seems rather common in the game, or lack a team-member.

You usually can take only one monster at a time and since running away is not possible (they hit even from afar), get used to dying.

wordplay, you play a priest, this class is insanely anoying the first 20 levels, then you can delve a bit into shadow/diciplin trea (you will know what i meen around lvl 10 if you dont allready know it) at that time you will be able to take more then one mob. alternetive team up with a more damage oriented class.

and no WoW hardly counts as a slow starter, try forever quest´, there you have a slow starter. anyhows at lvl 10 you get whats called talent points, you get one point pr lvl from lvl 10, each class has 3 talent treas that lets them boost different aspects of thier class. for priest its holy (aka healing), shadow( aka damage) and diciplin (sorte of boosting your buffs).

as allready mentioned priest aint easy in the beginning, if your looking for an easy but not boring class (read palading aka imbaladin) try the warlock or hunter. both are currently very powerfull and quite likely the easiest to level up.

as for fun, the warrior class is imho the funniest, closely followed by warlock.
