What's the main difference(s) between the 2nd edition & the 3rd edition wish spell?

  2. Do you already know what the Wish spell can do? I have the stats for the 3e Wish spell but as i dont have a 2e PHB i cant recall exactly what it can do..but it is very similar to the 3e if i can recall correctly. If you would like the stats for 3e Wish spell i can post them.

The new wish doesn't make your character weak, or age him five years, but it costs 5000 exp to cast everytime. The new one also has a larger list of things that can be done without ill effects (relatively minor, example: create an item up to 15000 gp in value). Otherwise there's not much difference. Both can be used for grander things, but watch your wording ;)
