Why play a human vs half-elf?

    I usually play as a half-elf simply because I like to roleplay. From the powergaming aspect, they also have some small bonuses that favor them over humans (as listed before).

    I agree 3e has more potential for Power Gaming (and munchkinism). You can create really weird builds, like monk/paladin/ranger for extra abilities and powers. Just look at IWD2 threads a little bit.

    This does not mean I hate and am in open war with 3e and IWD2 though, I only prefer simpler rules of 2e. :) I still love and play IWD2. It is my very first IE game!
