    DR, there's nothing I could add that others haven't already said. Amazing work, man.

    It's really a shame that we (i.e. those outside the US) don't hear more about the (presumably) large numbers of Americans who think like you do. Your point of view is certainly a nice change of pace from the usual BS put forth by the powers-that-be, and one that is certainly easier for me to rally behind.

    Just thought I'd chime in and let everyone know that - big shocker! - the New York Times decided not to run my op-ed. I knew it was a longshot, and frankly never expected anything. But I never would've considered sending it off if it hadn't been for your support. So again, I thank you.

    @ D.R. - well, it's their loss. But it was a long shot, of course - they probably get so many good submissions that the chances of getting published are pretty slim.

    It was still an excellent piece; at least you tried. :)
