Yup. He's the Norse god of thunder. His hammer, Mjolnir, is cool. It's virtually indestructible and returns when thrown.

According to the game parameters, any creature from another plane or planet was classified as an alien. So all Asgardians and Olympians were classified as aliens -- they were not seen as Gods so much as a superior species from another dimension who had been worshipped as gods by humanity in times past.

Thor's hammer also had a caveat of moral purity and high strength regarding use.

@Kam: Much agreed about the Doc. And Deadpool has saved lives with his endeavers, Bra. He is a hero. Even if the comic universe he exists in doesn't think so.
I recently found out that our public liabrary carried graphic novles so I've discovered new ones that are absolutely blowing my mind:

The Powers: sort of an obscure group of X-Men in DCs mature universe (Vertigo?)

The Sentry: A marvel superhero that Stan Lee concepted before FF, but only surfaced in 2000 as an Avenger (his Marvel Knights set is the most grim and gritty of the marvel knights I've read)

but my all time favorite superhero is again very obscure:

DC's Vertigo creation by my favorite Novelist/writer, Neil Gaiman:

Morpheus, King of Dreams, otherwise known as the new Sandman.

As you can tell I love the darker comics but of the ones that everyone knows of I think Batman is my favorite, because he has NO super powers. No enhanced strength besides sheer physical perfection, no enhanced brain power besides sheer mental brilliance. AND he secretly created failsafe traps just in case someone cloned the Justice League, and his traps nearly destroyed the JL and the world. They promptly expelled the Dark Knight for his subversiveness.
